We stopped in here for pho and my daughter got ramen. The prices cannot be beat, the lady who served us was very sweet and attentive, and everything was absolutely delicious! She said they make their own broth here too! My daughter also got the Yakult drink with strawberry boba and it was very refreshing and tasty. Loved this place to eat at during the week, surprisingly we were the only ones there but it was 8:00 PM. Definitely recommend, tasted amazing!

I seriously wont recommend this place. Me and my wife went with lot of expectations and it was no where close to what we thought off. The beef soup had a weird smell and the taste was not good.

The tiniest little restaurants always serve the best food! I ate there last night and loved it. The prices here are good, especially compared to other ones like this. I highly recommend you give it a try.

This is a great place. BYOB!!! The atmosphere is nothing special but the food is great. I had the beef pho soup with rice noodles. It was a little spicy which I like. For appetizers I had a spring roll and shrimp salad. All good. They take credit cards too now.

I usually get vietnamese food out in Flushing and Elmhurst. It’s nice to have something right here im East Meadow that is comparable. There’s a lot of choices on the menu and the prices are pretty good ($12 for most dishes). I got a combo situation that had sliced grilled pork chop and spring rolls over angel hair noodles that were cut into squares and actually looked like medical gauze. It also came with lettuce wraps and rice papers with steaming water so we can make our own spring and summer rolls. I just combo’d everything and rolled up my spring roll and pork chop in lettuce with that noodle gauze and the wrapped all that up into the rice paper with carrots and other vegetables. Not as much work as it sounds but definitely eating with my hands. Next cold day, I plan on coming back and trying one of the hot soups I saw people getting.

The taste is not so good along with the beef, the spring rolls are very ordinary. The service is bad.

Quality of this place has really gone down over the last two years. The last we had the spring roll and pho beef noodle soups. Spring roll tasted like it had been fried and retried again. Not fresh at all. The pho broth was utterly bland and weird tasting. Low amount of meat and noodles tasted like the frozen kind that was months old. I can’t recommend this place for food at all. I would be embarrassed to bring people I know here.

This review is long overdue. My wife and I have been coming to Pho Maxia at least once a month for many years and this place never disappoints. We order the beef ball soup and summer roll with shrimp religiously and it hits the G-spot of broth and noodle hunger every time. We are thankful the owner opened this restaurant in the area and we have the opportunity to share in his cuisine.

So this place is take out only and it is definitely not authentic Vietnamese food at all! We got the summer rolls, special pho, and curry chicken rice noodles and we did not enjoy any of these items. Special pho came with beef balls and chunks of beef; the rice noodles were all sticked together on the side. Curry chicken noodles had chicken, potatoes, and rice noodles in a coconut based soup. The broth tasted ok but the potatoes and chicken were so dry and overcooked. Summer rolls came with a side of peanut sauce which tasted a little off to me. Overall, its not an authentic vietnamese place if you’re looking for one.
