ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!! ZERO STARS First off to potential customers pass on this restaurant if you are looking for authentic Vietnamese favor texture and flare. So because of reviews from years back I pull up to Royal pho . I order the bun mai lunch special bc I thought it would be fast. No it wasn’t fast instead it took 20 mins for take out of 1 sandwich that had 6 pieces of meat in it. That was dried out and bitter from the char. The cucumber that’s supposed to be the fresh and crisp aspect of a bun mai was politely blanched. Even after I asked to have the have it on the side. The “ bubba tea” I just threw that in the trash. Food coloring and sugar.

As a Vietnamese person, I was pretty disappointed to see how the standards have diminished. The lack of care in the way the noodles are cooked properly only comes from not having a Vietnamese cook and prepare the dishes. The pride in making tasteful and flavorful Pho broth has clearly left the establishment and now I end up having to drive to Sterling,VA for an authentic Vietnamese meal. My point of reference is based on my many visits to Pho Royal over the last several years. I’ve given them many opportunities and chances but kept getting disappointed.

I do not recommend this place at all. Pho quality was less than mediocre, and topping meats were awful! We asked for slightly-fatty brisket (as listed on the menu), but they gave us tendons first. I went back to the restaurant, then they gave us almost all fat next!!! When I drove back again, the cashier person rolled eyes on me and said geeze… as if I did something wrong. We were the ones inconvenienced, but she gave me scornful attitude and then swapped with all dried-up hard stringy brisket pieces. Not even a sense of apology. We used to have Pho in Fairfax or Chantilly. This was no comparison.

We stopped by for lunch before the outlets – the restaurant is tucked away in a pretty empty strip mall. We ordered a couple dishes including pho. The first time the pho came out, it wasn’t hot and the noodles were so stuck together in a clump i couldn’t break it up without having tiny pieces of noodles. It clearly had been sitting in the back. The staff graciously remade the pho, but not sure why that happened in the first place. Restaurant was not busy. Overall the food was ok and quantity decent as well. Wouldn’t seek this out but wouldn’t avoid either.

As always this is the best Pho around, either you have any beef, meat balls, chicken or shrimp they taste excellent. I prefer to drive 15 min than try anything else, abd I have eaten in a lots of places. Recommended 100%

This place needs to update their sign in the front door letting people know that they’re closed on certain days. This is the second time I’ve been here and there have been closed. Food is great

The broth here is delicious. Great portions and reasonable prices. The woman who works the lunch shift hustles her butt off and deserves a medal for how hard she works.

1st time here. Pretty empty. Was greeted after seating myself with a “are you ready”. I said yes and asked for fresh veggie rolls with tofu. His answer: “we don’t have tofu”. My jaw dropped and I asked: “You don’t have tofu”? “NO”.

Pho was very good… and toppings were about the same as I’ve gotten at other pho restaurants in the area… STAY AWAY FROM THE BUBBLE TEA.. the bubble tea is over priced and not fresh. It’s pre-made in a plastic cup … it also wasn’t very cold… while I would definitely come back they need to work on faster initial service and either lower the price of the bubble tea or make it fresh.
