They have a soft opening since 5 months ago. We had Pho Ga, Pho veggies and beef as well as short ribs bbq. I would say the soups and egg noodles taste much better than before! Jason, the owner, makes everything in the house now!

It is good to have a local Vietnamese restaurant in El Sobrante. I’ve had several dishes here and they are all good. My recommendations are the Pho and the Bun (vermicelli) dishes. I do come after heavy traffic hours so it helps as the owner is also the chef, I believe.

Just left this place and what a disappointment it was! Pork chop plate had DRY pork steaks inside of the pork chops I paid for, 2 pork Bahn Mi sandwiches with the HARDEST bread ever-clearly stale. No worries, as you’ve now lost another local customer. BTW had I noticed the failed Health Deposit visit hanging, I never would have entered the business. Do better by your paying customers next time!!

It seems like the management/ownership might have changed. The staff is much slower. The food is different. Chicken wings are almost overcooked and almost comparable to a jawbreaker.

Use to be our go to pho place because for myself they have vegan pho with vegan broth. Sometimes I’d order their grilled shrimp vermicelli. They would order their thinly sliced beef platter over rice.

*Health hazard* If I could leave less than 1 star I would, highly recommend that no one eat here. I ordered $60+ in food and it showed up with dead cockroachs in the pho bowls. Totally disgusted with this!
