We have been in Rochester often for appointments at the local hospital. Before we go back home we like to try out new restaurants and this one we tried today. The service was great, we were in and out in 45 minutes during a busy lunch hour. The wait staff were quick to respond to our needs too! Very nice. Everyone at my table got pho, I got the rice noodle salad and it was amazing. Will definitely be back!

Ordered egg rolls and pho for $20 with tip. Little pricy for a lunch I think should be $12. Pho broth was light and ok, didn’t have the overpowering msg like others, pho condiments were fresh. Egg rolls didn’t taste fresh, days old refried.

My wife and I stopped in mid-afternoon for a late lunch early dinner. We found a very calm and relaxed atmosphere. One person — a pretty woman — was tending the front, including sweeping up after the lunch rush. We seated ourselves. We were quickly provided menus and waters. I ordered a sugar cane drink that was really unique and pleasant. My wife ordered the chicken fried rice. I ordered the vermicelli with grilled shrimp. The fried rice was one of the best I’ve had in years, but the vermicelli with shrimp stole the show for me. Cool, refreshing, and the dipping sauce was just delicious. The woman attending us told me that it is one of their more cultural dishes, described how the dish is prepared, and suggested trying the vermicelli and shrimp salad sometime. My wife said that she was quite happy with her fried rice and we can certainly come back to try more things. We enjoyed our visit and will return.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid and have never complained once about the food or service provided, but things have changed since the new owner. The food has no flavor and the portions get smaller and smaller every time. The service provided is unpredictable each time. I was in town for the weekend with my boyfriend and decided to stop in for some pho. It was a bit disappointing. The broth had no flavor (even after putting in all the condiments) and the noodles were not cooked all the way. We let the noodles soak in the broth for a bit, but the broth got cold quick and the noodles were still not cooked. We wanted to notify a waiter, but they were all busy helping other tables so we went up to the front and notified the girl up front that we didn’t want to pho on our bill as we weren’t able to eat it. She said she would ask to see what they were able to do and the owner said something along the lines of “go ahead and give it to them.” Not once did we get an apology for our food and the owner didn’t speak to us about it, she just walked away and went to go talk to another waiter about what happened. I don’t think i’ll come back here unfortunately I wasn’t happy at all with the food or service provided today. It’s not the same place it used to be…

The food taste good. Service is good and serving fast. I ordered Chicken Chow Mien (deep fried noodles) and Vietnamese spring roll. The noodles is come in a really big portion which probably can share by two. The chicken is tender and taste really nice. They serve white rice with the noodles too. The size of the Vietnamese spring roll is too big, the sauce doesn’t taste like spring roll sauce. Fortune cookies were served after the meal. Easy to get parking outside of the restaurant.

Well, we needed to create our own dish & thier sauces are some of the worst, but the egg rolls when ordered with fresh pho vegetables, lettuce, Thai Basil, cilantro & bean sprouts all used to wrap the fried eggrolls and dip in the fish sauce , after adding a little of everything that is provided on the table ! Bring me back to Nam & the amazing street food that country has offered for centuries! No one else compares , but you have to put in the effort. Can you tell my families been in this business for over 100 years in This town? Spring roll sauce is worst in town sadly & its an easy recipe to follow. Mango Thai has amazing sauces, learn from them?

It was excellent! Beef pho, shrimp noodles is good and the vegetable fried rice, also the crispy chicken wings are the best with the spicy sweet sauce!!! Recommended to all! Price is right too! A little pricy compare to Pho Chau but quieter here..

Pretty upset they served me a burnt egg roll. I am pretty sure they knew this…I make egg rolls all the time so I know, so for them to serve me this is pretty upsetting. The burnt side was turn down on the plate so I wouldn’t see.

This is my favorite Rochester Asian restaurant. Their food are good and fresh. Most food there seems to be of Southeast Asian ASEAN fusion. Have never been disappointed eating there.
