Attempted to dine in shortly before our train we had to catch. We walked in and it was a very nice, kind of upscale dining area, and there were only two other parties dining in, since it was on the earlier side of the evening. We placed our order and planned to eat for a few minutes, but also get to-go boxes and the check as soon as the food came out.

Staff were great but the food was not as described in the menu. In some cases the staff stated the difference at order if it was a no longer have that scenario but not for core ingredients being different. I fully would expect some seasonal variations if out of season but in this case it was August so no excuses. I had the red curry which did not have any bamboo shoots which in itself is a sin as they are cheap and come canned. It also had green beans and pea pods which neither was on the menu. It had massive hunks of unpeeled eggplant and no knife is provided so couldn’t even try to cut them down to edible size. The flavor was correct and it was delicious but you have to actually put what you state is in it. In it. Other issue is the menu states white, sticky , brown or berry rice. I ordered the berry and was told they stopped having that. I ordered the brown and was told they stopped carrying that too so it was white or sticky only anymore. So I had no rice as I only eat healthier rices. Place was empty at 6:30 Saturday so I guess that should have been my signal.

Great food and quick service! I would list the dish but they do not have their lunch menu online (choice of appetizer and dish for $13, very reasonable!). Tofu and sauce were tasty, my only complaint is it was too greasy.

Looks nice design inside but food is low class. To go food had hard rock steak pieces. Pho had only a few slices of beef. No attn to detail asked for utensils. Didn’t provide. Maybe dine in is better

The management of this eatery did a great disservice to two lone waitstaff to attend to the multiple diners. We never got to order food and left without eating. On a day like Night Market, it is utterly ridiculous to expect two people to manage a place this large. I don’t blame the workers at all for this horrible experience.

Been here at Pho Thai on quite a few occasions. It’s my “go-to” in the New Haven area for some of the best Vietnamese and Thai dishes. Was is search of “Bánh xèo” and found some other favorite dishes instead such as chicken satay, drunken noodles, crazy chicken noodle soup, grilled salmon with curry, fried mushrooms, chicken wings, Thai fried rice and a must must try-drunken noodle with your choice of meat and level of spiciness. Flavors are on the borderline of authentic from its homeland and look forward to exploring many more of their dishes. Hey-they EXPANDED, they now have a Boba Tea and crepe cafe-Definitely worth a try!.

The restaurant was super clean with lots of seating options. Waitress was super responsive, refilling water glasses regularly. The menu offers Thai and Vietnamese dishes but Thai appears to be their specialty, offering regional Northern Thai dishes. The portions were large. The Salmon Panang Curry had a huge piece of Salmon. The price of two meals and spring rolls was $40.

Definitely home-made Thai food. Its a family owned spot. I ate in and it took a while to get the food, but the restaurant was actually making everything fresh so be patient if you eat here. Chicken satay with peanut sauce was INSANE! I recommend it.
