Atmosphere was pleasant and calm while the food was fresh and well seasoned. I ordered the beef pho with fried chicken dumplings and Thai tea, all of which were very well made. I liked that they asked about bringing out the sprouts instead of just giving them because I often don’t eat them and they go to waste. Their menu is also enormous so there’s a lot of choices and they seemed to be busy even on a weekday night.

Being a foodie I always want to try different cuisines, on my visit to Houston I cannot only try desi food. One of my friends recommended this restaurant to me and i had to give it a shot. First of all i was happy with the good attitude of staff (the guy was owner also I guess), he also recommended the dishes and the quantity of it was too much or less. My favorite was the beef one I ordered, I forgot the name of that dish but if you show him the pic in my review he will know. The spring rolls were ok to me but my son loved those. Soup was good as well. I also tried their signature tea, which was ok. As I already had a better version if that in Georgia.

I was initially excited to try their food based in the number of high reviews, but was honestly left extremely disappointed. They didn’t have oxtail soup available as their menus online suggest. They stated that it was because it was “too expensive”. The salt toasted squid was wayyy overcooked to the point of it being like eating rubber. Their pho broth was subpar, and the shaking beef was not worth the $19.95 price tag. Their spring roll was broken and ingredients falling all over the place. Not sure what happened to quality, but since I ordered to-go it was too late to send it back. I will not be coming back.

First time visit and we enjoyed our meals. The owner & his workers are friendly. The dining area is comfortable and the wait time is good. It’s not one of those bustling Vietnamese restaurants, but just has a quiet pace that one can enjoy. Meals come out as they’re cooked so you get them hot. The rice plates are very good. In fact, I think that the Grilled Chicken & Egg Roll rice plate is one of the best I’ve had. They accept all kinds of credit cards including AMEX & Discover. Close to I-59 ok University Blvd. and close to a lot of shopping places so it’s good for streamlining errands. I also observed that several people have come in to pick up takeout.
