First time eating here. Cute vibe inside. Cozy. It’s like both a cafe and bar with a tuscan feel to it. Service was very good, although I think there was only 1 girl working the whole place and she could have used some help. Food came out ridiculously quick. Being a recent transplant from NY…. I got a Reuben. I was really looking forward to this, but the kraut ratio was off. Like really off. I got a side of more kraut for my sandwhich to get that NY 50/50 ratio. I think I will be back to try other items. Only thing that distresses me about here is their carpeting in the entire dining area, which is the whole place…. is so black and dirty from years of grime, traffic, and usage that only on the edges can you see its original color. Things like this make me question the cleanliness of other areas such as the kitchen and food prep. Time for new flooring.

Catching up on reviews. Noticed this spot as I sat in a long line at Wendy’s. The reviews were so good, I tried it on Saturday, 05-07-22. Definitely a mom & pop spot with plenty of nostalgia. I ordered the Philly steak and cheese to go; it came with fries. Pretty sure I added grilled onions. I was greeted as soon as I entered. The lady who took my order asked if I had any questions. She went in the back after I gave her my order. That’s when I checked out the place & started taking pictures. The food was ready in no time. It was no cheese steak from Philly or Bmore but it hit the spot. If I stop by again, it’ll probably be to try the baklava.

I did not try the food here but it looked great when others got their food. They have a fried bologna sandwich that looked phenomenal and I heard it was great. This is an old school restaurant and bar and it had a cool vibe.

Tried this place on a whim, just based on having homemade baklava. Got the patty melt, as well. Both were to die for, and the owner George was very personable. Working from out of town, but will definitely be back before I leave. Highly recommend

Been coming here since I was as little boy and have always loved it. Chicken wings are fantastic, and he can make them hot. A little pricey, but thats just everything these days unfortunately. I’d rather give a little extra to a great family owned restaurant than go somewhere like BWW and spend just as much if not more for bland over sugared sauces on wings. Pro tip : Ask for the “green bottle” if you like your wings HOT. It’s a homemade sauce the owner has made for years and it is FANTASTIC.
