What a delightful and delicious restaurant! No prepacked foods here. Everything is carefully prepared with care and real ingredients. We were greeted warmly by Fernando. The waitstaff was attentive and helpful even when the restaurant was slammed shortly after our arrival. It’s our new go-to place. We’re looking forward to returning soon!

I heard about this gem on TikTok! My friend and I decided to come check it out. We started with chips and guacamole and queso and chips! Both were bomb! They didn’t have Shrimp Birria on the menu but I asked and they made it happen for me. My friend got the Picante Bowl and added shrimp. We also got the pineapple margarita pitcher and the blue raspberry pitcher! I definitely recommend this place! 10/10!

Casual atmosphere. Excellent service. THE FOOD IS THE STAR. We ate Shrimp Tacos and Birria Tacos. 5 stars. Tres Leches for dessert. We’d give 6 stars if Google allowed. Run, don’t walk to Picante…

Good Mexican restaurant in Annapolis, nice food and good selection of dishes to chose from. I had the chicken fajitas, it was a very generous size and super tasty.

It was a good experience. Not great enough to go back when there’s so many other places to try in the area but the food was good. Their homemade hot sauces very very good, and the salsa is tasty.

I came here for my birthday last night and the food and service was amazing. Fernando went above and beyond. We had a table of 10 and everyone loved their food and drinks. We will definitely be back.

Nicely decorated Mexican food restaurant right on the main strip. This isn’t “Tex-Mex” that is more known to most diners but more traditional MEXICO Mexican food (you know “Tex-Mex” isn’t really Mexican food the same way “Western-style Chinese” isn’t really Chinese food) with a little upscale twist …..so some salmon and shrimp and mole and lots of pork/ chicken. No free chips or salsa…on the other hand, they do make their chips fresh in house (good and thicker than average but not very salty…and no salt/ pepper shakers on the table). Queso is a skillet of regular melted block cheese (thick) without seasoning or jalapenos / peppers / mix-ins. Service was overall fine, if a tiny bit on the slow side, but not particularly friendly. $15-$25 entrees of reasonable average size that were well presented with good flavors (but not particularly spicy hot) – everyone was happy with what they ordered. They do provide free water which is great as the drinks (fun unique mixes that did taste good) are very small, contain almost no alcohol, and very expensive at $10-$13 each for about 8 ounces of liquid plus ice in a 10-12 oz small cocktail glass. $7 draft beers. It is great to have a Mexican restaurant that serves something a little more authentic and different from what can easily be had elsewhere, so a nice addition to Annapolis. We had an OK meal with no particular problems and would definitely be fine going back if others wanted to visit, but we definitely won’t be buying those drinks again.

I went here during lunch time with friends and the food was absolutely delicious! I had never tried Mole before, and now I’m CRAVING IT! Everything was cooked to perfection. I loved the authentic Mexican flavors you could taste in every bite. I will definitely be back (often)!

Excellent food. Very flavorful and authentic. Great selection on the menu, good drinks as well. Staff could not have been more attentive and friendly. What a wonderful addition to West St. Feels like an instant classic for locals, can’t wait to come back.

5 stars based on food. The chicken burrito is one of the best I’ve had. The atmosphere is meh. Very bland and a bit stark, no bar to sit at, booths were fine. Service was functional but not friendly. Shame they charge for chips and salsa when you’re dining. Did give free extra salsa. Chips get a B. Salsa an A+. Other sauces that came with dishes were very good. Yes, we’d go back. The chicken burrito was that good.
