The food is absolutely fantastic. That was quite possibly the best salsa, beans and the most amazing burrito I’ve had in my life. And I’ve been searching for the best Birria in town. I definitely found it! The service is fast and so kind, very happy and they all have such great smiles! My fiance and I are going to make this place a constant in our food stops!

My husband and I have been going to Picante since they were a food truck, and we were excited to hear when they opened a brick and mortar. We have always been blown away by the immense flavor in each dish. It is our favorite place to go when we are out to eat or even grabbing food to go. Their service is exceptional! The staff is super friendly and quick to ensure you have everything you need. The frijoles that are served when dining in are fresh and delicious. The food comes out promptly, and they offer a variety of salsas to go with it (Chile de Arbol for spice, avocado lime for something fresh, etc). One of our favorite dishes is the surf & turf Crunchwrap. Nicely toasted on the outside, crunch on the inside, fresh cabbage slaw, juicy meat, and nice bites of shrimp. We also enjoy the Birria Crunchwrap, Birria tacos, enchiladas, El Jefe burrito… really the list can go on. Most recently they gave us a sneak peek of a deep-fried S’more they will be adding to their menu. Absolutely mouth-watering!!! It just melts in your mouth. We just can’t get enough of Picante, and look forward to when they open up their tequila bar! You can tell they have put time, effort, and heart into everything. They deserve all the success!

3.5 stars. Service was okay. Tried the cheese Birria and asada taco. Kids had the Birria ramen. Husband had el torero burrito. Husbands burrito was very good I would probably get a burrito on the next visit. Kids enjoyed the Birria ramen the meat was very good and tender with good broth. My tacos while the corn tortillas were fresh they didn’t have much flavor. Everything from the meat to the shell was just dry. I prefer melty cheese on a Birria taco. It was toasted on to the shell. The Birria consume was very flavorful, but overall I wouldn’t get again. The appetizer of chips salsa and beans were very fresh and delicious!
