Wonderful local Italian food! The food was delicious and tasted authentic, too. The atmosphere was great and lively! I’d definitely go there again and the food was outstanding. 10/10 would eat here again

Chailyn and Kendra helped us organize a last-minute private lunch for 30 guests of all ages and appetites. The food was stunning and everyone loved the generous family-style dishes. The service was so smooth — Chailyn anticipated all our needs, especially since we organized this within a couple of days. I recommend Piccola for private functions: they curtained off the back of the restaurant for our party.

Ate at the bar, as I was solo. Bartender seemed annoyed to be serving food only since I wasn’t drinking. Asked about oyster special, didn’t know anything about it (big poster at bar) said would check with kitchen; left to get back on type of oyster. Later (8 min later) she was chatting with the waitress next to me and I asked what she found out. Said, oh need to check with kitchen (had been to kitchen to pickup my casaer salad? and another trip for a table she was covering. Dropped off meal and only returned to ask for dessert or check. Check comes and up charge for different pasta which she never informed me was extra. Just asked is penne ok or want something else?. Said linguini would be nice. Zero, that’s extra $3. Found out upcharge when billed arrived. When I asked, she said “do you want a manager” (with a serious attitude and in your face since she was on my side of the bar now)? Said fine. There’s no need to speak with manager, just please swipe the credit card. Did tell her when upchange a customer usually is told per my experience having worked in industry. She shot back I’ve worked a long time too, who cares. Drops folio off no pen and walks away. Guessing she didn’t think I would tip? Or fill in her desired tip?

We had dinner here for New Years Eve… Not too busy, but the service started slow… Eventually, the service speed picked up. The meals/pasta were all fantastic. We have eaten here before and always have had great meals. A good pick for New Year Eve dinner!

It was so bad tonight. 6:15 reservation. 2 hours to get food. We were told from the start they were out of veal. No big deal. Took 40 minutes after multiple request for waitress to take our order. Finally ordered fettuccine Alfredo, Fruiti Di Mare, Scallops with Lobster Risotto and Shrimp and Scallops with spinach risotto. 30 minutes later, told “sorry, only one serving of risotto left!” Seriously, you’re out of Rice?!? So one person in our party requested pasta instead of risotto. 10 minutes later waitress comes to table apologizing again telling us our meals will be right out… so sorry for delay! 20 min later, she comes out again and said they no longer have any portions of risotto! I can’t make this up! At which point I ask about the Salmon. But I’m told they are out of that too!! Food was terrible. Service was sad. They made no adjustment to the bill and $260 later we had a terrible meal with pathetic service. I’ll be shocked if this place is around in a year based on our experience.

My girl and I made reservations here. This was my first time being here, the customer service was good, the atmosphere was relaxing. The martini was delicious! The scallop and lobster dish was creamy and exquisite! The meatballs were full of flavor and the sauce was very well seasoned! This place is expensive compared to other places. But, if you want to go here for a special occasion, I highly recommend it!!

We went to Piccola Ristorante Bar in August 2023. I can’t comment to how it was before change of ownership, because this was my first time (seems like this is an “important” thing that reviewers mentions regarding to this restaurant). I can say however that for a busy night, the service was relatively fast, the food was good, and portion were appropriate. Is this the same as the food you would get in Italy? No… not even close. I’m from there and just isn’t the same. However, the pasta amatriciana and fettuccine puttanesca were good. Now, we were charged for a dessert that we didn’t receive (because it was frozen). No big deal to me, but you may want to check the receipt if these sort of things bother you.

We went for a birthday dinner on a Sunday afternoon. It had been years since I had been to the restaurant, and I was eager to see if anything had changed. Everything was great. Our server Sheila was attentive and greeted us immediately. We each ordered a drink and an appetizer. My cucumber gimlet was actually pretty strong, which is great. My caprese was good, the only thing is that it was soaked in olive oil. My entree had three chicken breasts in it which was great. The satellite radio was interesting, while we were eating we heard a commercial for Carrabbas, which was ironic. All in all, we had a great birthday meal.
