Went on a date here and we felt like royalty. Such a beautiful and elegant restaurant. The food comes out like you’re on of those food Network shows.

Great tasting food for its price. Service is really good. More of an upscale restaurant, higher quality dishes. The duck ragu pasta was delicious. They have great desserts. The coffee was amazing in the affagato. Lovely little patio in the back. The chefs know what they’re doing. Overall highly recommend.

Great ambiance inside the restaurant. The upstairs was particularly cozy. Was expecting a little more out of the food at that price point, though. Come here for the mood, not necessarily the food.

I love the ambiance and all of the staff is really nice. The food, however, falls short. We ordered the jamon serrano appetizer, the chicken entree, the fettuccine and trout special, and two desserts. Nothing really stood out to me. I was disappointed with the flavor profile and the quality of the ingredients. Everything was just mediocre. I used to live in Italy, so maybe my expectations were high? Did I order the wrong things? For the price point, I had higher expectations. I’ll return for a glass of wine on a date night because the location is rather charming, but I think there are better food options in South Pasadena.

We shared the trout, culotte steak, Filet mignon, grilled calamari, watercress salad and pancetta. They we’re delicious. If I were you I would definitely go for the pasta dishes! The trout was perfectly cooked and the steaks were well seasoned. We all loved the calamari. The cocktails could use some work but the wine was great. The deserts were delicious.

Excellent wait staff, friendly and knowledgeable. Large wine list from Italy . Food was delicious. There are parking issues, be prepared to walk a block but it’s well worth it. We ate inside but there was a great back patio as well. They do not rush you!

This is our local date night restaurant. The food is incredible, and the service is on par as well. This is our second time and the both times we thoroughly enjoyed our food and the food and drink recommendations by the wait staff. Can’t wait to go back.

Food was fairly good but way too small portions for the price. Don’t go on a day when you’re hungry. Service was very good and we were given a small surprise dessert which was nice and unexpected.

This is a nice addition to South Pasadena’s dining scene. It occupies the space vacated by Crossings that closed a few years ago. Kudos to Felix who normally tends bar but helped serve us last night. The veal scallopini with Pernod and blood orange sauce was amazing. The fillet mignon medallions with truffle and Barolo sauce was superb. The sea bass with cherry sauce was moist and well seasoned. The calamari grigliata was over cooked and came out gummy. The orata crudo was light and refreshing. The desserts were not very sweet and were the highlight of the meal.
