The food here isnt bad but the place needs to come a long way before I could recommend it. When you first walk in you are greeted by the smell of cigarettes. No one is smoking so the people are either smoking there before it opens or it hasn’t been cleaned that long. My wife and I were seated at a table that was very wobbly and noticeably tilted when weight was applied to it. The menu seemed very authentic, but had no descriptions at all so you have to be familiar enough with Italian cuisine to know the difference between piccata, raffaello, pizzaiola, ect. The food was ok, but not enough to make for the other drawbacks.

The place was very old and dirty with a hint of cigarette smoke lingering in the air. The staff is obviously allowed to smoke behind the kitchen door as indicated by the air vents covered in tar and dust. The chicken was raw and without breading in the chicken parmesan. It was just a rubbery, frozen-burnt chicken breast smothered in mozzarella cheese. Very disappointing. The garlic bread was probably the best thing there followed by their spaghetti with meatballs and that doesn’t say much. The staff makes you ask them for straws which they are very stingy with. Looking around I saw all the other customers drinking straight from the glass which was gross because the dishes were filthy. My wife kept asking for sweet tea for her and my daughter and the waiter kept bringing unsweetened. I don’t think they had sweet tea but the waiter never addressed it and instead just kept bringing the opposite of what we asked and that just left us puzzled. 20 years ago, this place was great. I’ll never return now though.

My wife & I took my mother-in-law to Piccolos for Mothers day. She had wanted to try this place and we thought we’d surprise her.

The male waiter was nice and did a great job of keeping tabs on everything by himself. This place could use a good cleaning and smells a bit old and dingy. Food was mediocre, but the spaghetti meat sauce was the best out of what we ordered. Although we enjoyed the garlic bread and the salad with Italian dressing.

Maybe it was an off day, but we waited 10 minutes to order drinks, and another 20 minutes to get salad. The waiter only brought 2, even though we ordered 3; we had to get his attention and ask for it. The entrees came immediately after (before the 3rd salad), probably because we waited so long. They gave my husband the wrong order. The lady seemed so upset about it he said he’d take it anyway. The food was very good. At the end of our meal she said “it would help a lot” if we paid in cash. ?????? Between the 3 of us, we had enough for the bill and a $2 tip. Disappointing because we’d passed it for years and always said we should try it. Most likely won’t be going back.

Upon entering the place it smelled very musky and in need of a good cleaning but despite the smell I decided to try the food. The place is a bit outdated hence the old smell but the service was ok. The waiter was very attentive but they didnt have soda beverages but the food overall wasn’t shabby. Being Italian I tend to be more critical of Italian food.. this wasn’t great food but better than eating fast food. This will be my one and only time dining here.

Excellent food. Her salad dressing is homemade Italian. Not too tart like most restaurants. I can eat 2 salads. So good!!

This was our first time here, and as the saying goes, “First impressions last a lifetime”. This restaurant was exceptional in every aspect. The waiter, Patrick, was very knowledgeable about the dishes from beginning to end. He recommended appetizers and entrees from his favorites and the top customer choices. We went with the artichoke appetizer which was excellent. My wife got the Chicken Raffaello, which was superb, and we got the tiramisu, also amazing. I got the lasagna, which was not only exceptional but could easily feed two people. Bonus…we took enough food home to enjoy as another meal. Five stars all the way. This first impression will last a lifetime.

Okay so let me start off by saying this place is just horrible. Horrible service, they have all of 10 things to choose from to eat, the environment is dim and unpleasant and the food is extremely mediocre (taste like it’s been microwaved). I would definitely not recommend eating here if you want to be served by a friendly waitress. Instead of a friendly staff the older woman who takes your order never smiles and sits around watching people eat. The food is bland, my sister ordered manicotti and it came with one noodle, one… for 8 bucks. I wanted some type of alfredo but they don’t offer that. I ordered chicken parmesan and my mother ordered lasagna, they tasted exactly the same. We wanted to try and “authentic” Italian restaurant but I doubt this is it. I will never, ever eat here again.
