My family and I used to eat here on special occasions growing up but now I love to eat here as often as I can find the time. Today it occurred to me to write a review because my sister and I will sit around quite literally talking about how good it is and how much we love it. I think some new owners took it over recently (in the last couple of years I think?) and they are SO lovely and kind. The quality is always 100/10 and can turn a bad day into a good one. This sounds very dramatic but sometimes I will just think how I kind of feel sorry for people who live in other towns and cities and have never had Pickle Haus. Thank you for making this one of my favorite restaurants!!!

Here it is, the perfect lunch. Search no more. Ordered ahead on the website and the bag was ready at the front counter- so easy. Very kind staff – they gave me a free cookie! The Exeter wrap was so good and I’m so glad they also carry Deep River chips.

So glad I gave this place a try. I used to order my go-to Turkey sand which but after I tried the chicken salad I am fully addicted! I stop by after work about twice a week now. The chicken salad is next level tasty and I’m so glad they don’t add anything extra (like grapes or raisins which I always find off putting haha) to try and make it fancy- it doesn’t need it! The staff works well around each other even when busy, you can tell they have a system. You’ll have to be a little patient around lunch time but it’s worth it. Great spot, clean and fair priced. Happy to support this local business!

I had the Clarendon, chicken breast, roasted red pepper, provolone cheese. I added hot peppers for a little kick. Had this sandwich before and enjoyed it. Today, it was mediocre at best. Tiny, dry pieces of chicken, a large wet pepper, so wet it made the bread soggy. The “hot” peppers came on the side and were not hot. Just tasted like more red pepper. I was very disappointed. A sandwich for $9 should at least not be soggy with very dry, pieces of chicken. It was very busy today so maybe that was part of it. I just don’t think I will eat there again soon.
