Waiter was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious!! Loved the fried pickles and peppers ! The porterhouse was done perfect (I take mine rare husband likes med-rare both were right on). We had the chocolate mousse cake for desert and was great as well. Can’t wait to come back.

Despite the bad reviews on here we checked Facebook which had some similar, but mostly better reviews. After deciding to try this place with mixed reviews we were pleasantly surprised. The food was good and the wait staff was friendly. It did not seem as disgustingly unclean as the reviews suggested, however there is room for improvement. The locally brewed beer was good and I would go back just to eat the house potatoes that were so awesome. All in all a great experience compared to what we were expecting from reviews. We’ll be eating here again.

Just had one of the worst meals I ever paid for. I must admit, I was forewarned, having checked the reviews before we went- but what can I say-I’m an optimist. Hubby had Mahi Mahi which was well past its prime and overcooked. (He did like the rice). I had a rack of barbecue ribs (wanted chicken and rib combo but no chicken by 5:30)! Sauce tasted like plain low sodium ketchup-ugh! Buffalo cauliflower was a cool concept but apparently above the cooks pay grade. Dessert (served very attractively) tasted like cheap artificial chocolate. Were it not for the wonderful Long Island Ice Teas, I probably would have balked at the bill (overpriced for sure), but I have to give credit for the great drinks that put me in a mellow mood. Still, it’s only right that I warn others. Stick to drinks and lite fare and eat at the bar. 🙂

I went here with my family for the first time. From the very start we had to wait 10 or so minutes just for a server to come over. Add another 10 minutes to get the drinks. We had been sitting a little over 20 minutes and hadnt even put in a order yet. Once we ordered it took 40 minutes for our order to come out. I can look past this if the food is good. It wasnt. My ribeye that I ordered medium was beyond well through and through. So dissapointing. My kids prime rib had the same story. We had to use steak sauce to wash the dry meat down. My wife did like her salmon. We have a one year old so the long wait and bad steaks mean we will never repeat. The wait staff was friendly…but I prefer less waiting and better cuisine to friendliness.

Upon entering the place it looks decent. Once you sit down is where the creepiness begins. To start, when we grab the chairs to seat ourselves the back of the chair was sticky. We realized the table was dirty before we sat down and quickly asked someone to clean it. You could tell it hadn’t been cleaned because there was a cup stain and crumbs. The server only cleaned the part where the cup stain was and continued on. We ordered soda. The soda was flat with no carbonation at all. Then we opened our silverware to discover it was dirty and mismatched. We ordered an appetizer (Buffalo Cheese Dip with Pita Bread). The chicken had gristle and the pita bread was burnt. We quickly got the attention of the server because we did not want to continue onto the entrees and hoped to catch her before they started it. We explained everything to her and her reply was that she could box everything up and we could take it home but we still had to pay for everything. We had to insist to her that we wanted to just leave. She finally went to speak with the manager. Shortly after she came back with a check for the drinks and the appetizer. That’s when I said I am not paying anything. I want to speak with the manager.

My family went for All You Can Eat Crab Legs as advertised on their web site. Needles to say they no longer offer this deal. The staff advised their web site is not current. I guess I should have left. Instead I had to look at banner “see our specials” with their web address. It has been 4 weeks since I’ve been there and their website still advertises AYCE crab legs.

My friend and I stopped for a late lunch yesterday, 09-24-15. My friend ordered a cup of seafood chowder, and after 2-3 spoonfuls, found a 12-16 inch hair in the bowl. She carried the hair to the gentle(?)man at the front desk. All he said was “Sorry,” and dropped it onto the floor. He then brought her another cup of the same soup, and told us that the hair wasn’t their fault – that they find hairs all the time when they vacuum the floor. My friend refused the soup (I’m sure from the same contaminated pot) and accepted a salad. I ordered a bowl of New England clam chowder, and it looked like wallpaper paste and tasted like salty paste with undercooked celery and a very few canned minced clams in it. The State board of health should definitely be notified immediately about the BOH cleanliness in this restaurant!

Against my better judgment we went to dinner at Pickles Steakhouse in Emmaus. We have not been there in years because of bad food and service. Well unfortunately it has not changed. My food was inedible. So I watched my family eat. Owner said they were busy?? I wish our meal was comped, it ruined our night.
