The tacos were flavorful and had a nice kick of spice. The meat was tender and juicy, and the toppings were fresh and tasty. However, it was on the pricey side. It’s not authentic Mexican tacos but close enough.

I love coming here whenever I pass through Thomas. These are some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. I love the pork carnitas especially. There might be a wait but the food is well worth it, especially with their outdoor dining options.

Picnic Taco is so good y’all! I had a pork taco bowl with a fried egg and plantains. Whoa Nelly! This Texas gal, who is constantly disappointed by tacos and the like out here is pleasantly impressed! The pork had great flavor, as did the rest of the ingredients. (The good assortment of hot sauce was not needed, but obviously taken advantage of!) And the margarita was . Thanks so much to the gal at the counter for her genuine warmth and full support of my 11am margarita!

We really enjoyed our lunch at Picnic Taco! I found the place by Google Reviews, and read that they have delicious tacos and plantains. I was not disappointed. The location is great. I love the cute little building and the outdoor seating. We really enjoyed our tacos and also the delicious plantains. It was my first experience eating plantains and they were delicious. I had the chicken tacos and the ground beef. My favorite was the locally sourced ground beef! We will definitely visit again!

My son and I ate here after going to Blackwater Falls. I saw this town on a Tik Tok and had to stop. It was the cutest little town ever! I was actually way more impressed by these tacos than the falls. The best tacos I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot of tacos! The restaurant is in a cute old house. You order at the counter and there are a few tables. Nothing fancy but everything is in that paper box that you need! Two months later that I’m writing this review and these tacos stay on my mind. And the plantains! So good.

In my younger days when we visited and traversed the Mountain State we just hoped to find a custard stand that stayed open late and served some sort of food. Now you stumble across a place like this. Amazing. The food was knock your socks off good and the place is so unique.

I wanted so much to love this place. So overpriced though. Bought two different kinds of tacos and they looked and tasted essentially the same. They should also warn people that everything comes covered in a thick layer of cilantro.

I had the taco plate with 2 tacos, fried plantains, and black beans & rice. My friend had the carnita bowl. Both were excellent. We enjoyed them at a picnic table down by the river. Will definitely be eating there again.
