Went there to get 1 free pizza with coupon we had signed by a manager, with no expiration date. I had that in my purse for at least 4 years; received it from a manager in Manhattan KS as an apology for our pizza being very, very late. I was very pleased they honored the card after all this time!

The pizza had great value to it and was not at all greasy and didn’t make you feel gross after eatting like some chain places do. The staff was knowledgeable and even recommended a type of crust to help us decide. The gaucho steak was a 10/10, well balanced. The tandoori feather was 8/10 needed a bit more chicken on it. The pepperoni was 10/10 all the ingredients from the crust to the sauce and cheese was well balanced as a pizza should be. Glad we tried it! Buy 3 get 1 free was an excellent deal and allowed you to try a variety of their menu. Very, very impressed+. The only thing I’d say they could work on is being a little quicker and cut the slices better, the guy really didn’t cut the pizza evenly at all and we basically had to rip it ourselves.

This was surprisingly good. They make the pizza right in front of you just like a famous sandwich shop. I like that you can add or change your toppings while they do it. The parking lot had plenty of space and there were plenty of seats inside. The real treat is that it’s really fast. My family ordered, got drinks, and they called our name. I loved that. Fresh and fast.

Food was absolutely amazing, however the service was disappointing. When we were having our ordered prepared, the men working there did not seem thrilled to be working there at all. One of the men literally had an ear bud in and spoke to us in such a monotone and not enthusiastically. It was very uncomfortable. Additionally, we were under the assumption the 4th pizza was free since that was the promotion going on and we even mentioned it many times during the order. We got our receipt and we did not get the promotion. We asked about this and was told we didn’t get it because apparently we didn’t “say anything” about the deal and there was nothing they could do about it. We didn’t get the 4th pizza for free as advertised and they made no effort to fix this. I did not like the vibe here at all. I’d recommend getting your food to go and getting out as soon as you can!

They keep closing all of the Pie Fives! I used to go to one in Leawood, that closed. Then we went to the one near Oak Park Mall, that closed, now we’re down to this one. It has a nice patio on the right days. They keep it a little chilly sometimes though so be aware. The guys are nice guys and very prompt. Sometimes there are issues with the trash not being taken out or the outside tables needing cleaning. Regardless, please don’t close. Raise prices if you need to!

All 3 times I’ve been here they have never had the basil to go with the margherita pizza, and 2 of those times they “forgot” to add the basil pesto drizzle I ordered and it was a total coincidence that they needed to make more. This past order had the wrong crust for mine and the wrong sauce for my partners; this was just a terrible experience all together and the gentleman working, who was clearly baked out of his gourd, couldn’t have cared less.
