Hadn’t been to pie pan in a while since they changed up. I miss the old brick feel of the place. It’s not more of a modern look. The waitresses try to be nice but you can kind of tell they are over worked. Had the bacon cheeseburger and it was one of the best burgers I had in a while and the fries were amazing.

My daughter had the country fried steak lunch, my husband had the patty melt and fries, and I had the chicken salad , tomato slices, and lettuce platter with a cup of vegetable soup. My meal and my daughter’s came with their homemade yeast rolls. Everything was perfect. We even got a strawberry pie to go, which was out of this world tasting. Would go again just to try one of their 31 pies and cakes.

After standing at the front for over 15 mins we actually had to ask one of the staff if we could sit down. The place smelled like rotten eggs so we asked to sit outside which we were informed they had lost the keys. 45 minutes we waited before our order was even taken. No one offered us a glass of water or anything. The food finally came out, and the beef was so salty neither of us could eat it, we will not come here again. I actually thought about sending the food back and refusing to pay for it however, I’m not that kind of person. They just lost mine and my family’s business. They were not busy. It was a Monday and there were only 2 other tables. After the waitress walked by us several times she finally asked if we had been helped which, of course I said absolutely not. There was an elderly couple that came in after we did and also had to ask to be waited upon. All together we were there for lunch for over an hour and a half before we got our food. Never again

This place is ridiculously delicious. I went here for the first time and was blown away at how great the food was and the coffee is way too good to mention. The coffee doesn’t taste burnt, like the world renound Starbuck [gross], Pie Pans Coffee helps to complete the experience of an amazing meal. The only downside and reason for giving it 4 stars is due to the biscuits, they were very dense and not soft and fluffy. So biscuits and gravy is off the menu for me. Everything else is amazing.

Terrible food. Lady that worked in kitchen came out and asked one of us if she wanted more pickles she did want more so the lady from the kitchen reached in with her bare hands and put a hand full of pickles on her plate. I had vegetable soup and it was cold and very thick. I told our server my soup was cold and she began apologizing and offered to take it back to kitchen I refused and asked for a Togo dish. Needless to say I brought it home and through it in the garage. I got to thinking about the lady and the pickles and couldn’t think about eating the soup.

Really wanted to go here today but the smell of raw sewage inside the restaurant was overwhelming. We had to immediately leave. Waitress said she couldn’t smell anything but only other table in there agreed that it was horrible. Too bad. Hadn’t eaten here since the heyday of North Park when the cinemas used to be there.

The food was absolutely fantastic. Everything that was supposed to be was absolutely crisp and the flavor profiles were absolutely mouth watering. For how great the food was I was shocked at how cheap our bill was. New favorite place to eat. Would recommend.
