Visited Pie Tap last night and had a great experience for our first time visit! Our waiter was very friendly and even took his time to recommend an appetizer to us! The Fondue definitely wasn’t my first choice because the description had Goat Cheese in it and I wasn’t sure about it. But I decided to go off my servers recommendation and try it! It did not disappoint. At this point I want to go back just to order this as a meal. It’s not the traditional fondue I’m used too though.

Great food and great service. I love eating at a place where all staff are chipping in to help each other and it makes the service too grade. GM and manager stopped to say hi and refill drinks and tell us about the food. Our server was Dillon and he was great. The pizza, pasta, and half chicken dish were all really good. Will definitely be back. Be sure to make a reservation if you come during high traffic because it is not a huge place and fills up quickly.

All I can say is wow!! If you are looking for a new take on pizza, this place is definitely worth a try. We absolutely loved everything we tried, from the garlic knots to the homemade doughnuts. I will definitely come back to try some of the other pizza options on the menu. The salami pizza was amazing if you are a meat lover.

Absolutely love when we get to have Michelle as our server! Today we had the Fondue & Homemade Pepper Jam with the amazing Sea Salt & Rosemary Bread Puffs…(ferment the dough for 96 hours with olive oil, flour, salt, and water) Mushroom & Egg Brunch Pie, Goat Cheese Egg White Omelet with Calabrian Chili Potatoes and Spicy Bloody Marys.

The atmosphere, the drinks, the food! All great! We’ve arrived a little closer to 7:30 and was told that there was an hour wait. No big deal, but then was told that the bar was first come first serve and that it’s full service. From the moment we sat down to the moment we left, we’ve received nothing but fantastic service!

Cute & busy “pizza bar” – their fondue was great but unexpected! Not like a traditional fondue set up. I had a Tequila cocktail (I think it was called a sunrise) that was delish – not too sweet!) hubs had an Old Fashioned that was “okay” (he’s a tough critic of whiskey drinks).

Went for lunch and it did not disappoint! We got the meatballs for app which were delicious – the bread was SO fresh and buttery. The salad is HUGE. Highly recommended. The vibe here surprised me and the service was great!

It is really wonderful to have a brand new unique eatery in the neighborhood. Super fun decor and ambiance and lots of hustle and bustle. Love it. Did I mention the super unique wood fired pizzas?? They even brought out the dessert with a candle. Soooo yummmm.

We walked in from the Frisco concrete jungle to a great little Italian restaurant with a very cool vibe called PieTap.
