Big slices. friendly staff. Decent prices for what you get. The smell of pizza as you walk by draws you in. My only complaint is I didn’t have enough cash for all the choices I wanted. But I will be back again for the other slices. Definitely stop by and grab a slice or two and bring friends so they can buy some slices. Please support this small delicious business.

Went here for lunch today. The owners were inside cleaning up and the woman was dripping in sweat and explained there was no way they could make pizza for lunch due to the heat. 100% understandable!!!! They were both very kind and down to Earth, we chatted for a bit. Please help support this 30 year small business!!! A true Sacramento gem

Went here with my my girlfriend on St. Patty’s day. Was met at the register by a very friendly and inviting employee. She offered to add whatever we wanted on top of their pre-made slices and even through in some ranch. The slices are humongous and I would be lying if i didn’t say that it was some of the best pizza I have ever had. We got a pesto, a mushroom/black olive, and a pepperoni and sausage. The slices were crispy on the bottom and soft and buttery on top. I will absolutely be going again. The inside of the restaurant is very Italian authentic and cozy. 11/10 and can’t wait to drive back and grab more slices. would have posted photos but ate them way too quickly.

Pretty good! Great portion for a “by the slice” but a little pricey. Sauce was OK – could be a little zestier. The stuffed crust edge is a bit doughy so if you like it crispier I would mention it. Quiet atmosphere when slow, has a cafe vibe to it almost. Offers standing counter space and tables with a small patio. I would go back if I was craving a late night slice!

First of all the guy said it would be doing alot for him to make the pesto bread sticks so suggested we get the pesto slice instead. Then we get our pizza that is way over priced at $55.00 (they only have one size for a whole pizza by the way) just for it to be not done all the way, the crust had alot of uncooked dough. My kids didnt eat none of the pizza for that reason. I lost 60 dollars all cash down the drain. I was trusting the reviews on here, so i felt i needed to speak up so this doesnt happen to someone else. Thats money i wont get back. Sorry for who ever had a great experience. I wish i could say the same. I didnt want to be that person. But hey the truth hurts.

Without question Pieces is my favorite pizza joint. It is one of the few places one can get pesto pizza and theirs is stellar. Their pesto stix are great too. I eat here, at least once, every time I visit Sacramento.

Really tasty slices with a great variety of toppings. Vegetarians can find a wonderful assortment of pizza by the slice. Customer service is phenomenal as well. Very friendly people.
