I’ve ate at Piedmont ale house takeout a few times, and wasn’t as pleased this time. The side for my entree was homemade chips, and when I opened the plate, there were maybe 10 chips in total. We also looked at their website for the menu, not pictures from google. The website pricing was out of date as much as $4 for my burger. The quality of food is good, and I’m ok with the price I paid if it was advertised properly. Don’t have a website if you’re not going to keep it up to date. I also called from my house (<10 minutes from the restaurant) and was placed on hold. After being on hold for for at least 10 minutes, I finally left and made it to the restaurant without anyone getting back to me. There were 3 waitresses working at maybe 40-50% capacity so it wasn’t too busy for them to get back to me on hold. Regardless if the customer is dine in, it would be a courtesy in the service business to take care of them.

I’m guessing this place stays in business because it is a good bar. We stopped in for dinner, and it was terrible. We recently moved here and are giving local owned restaurants a run to determine where our “go to” places will be. This won’t be one of them. The fish and chips took 40 minutes to get to the table and I’m guessing they stayed in the fryer the whole time. I needed a knife to cut through the fish patties. The service was awful and took forever to both take the order and get the food. Finally, dinner for three (two fish and chips plus a burger) was over $60 and that was with no appetizers, desserts and three waters to drink.

My friends and I go there every Friday night after work for drinks, and their service is top notch. Friendly bar tenders, good drinks, and an excellent outdoor patio. Do I wish they had a pool table or something else to do, sure, but it’s still my favorite watering hole.

Food wasn’t good compared to other times I’ve been to the Ale House. The service was great our waitress was very attentive even with the large number of people in the building. The picture below is suppose to be onion rings not dough fritters because there were very few onions

1st time ordering here… I called about 9pm, the female didn’t bother telling me the grill was closing.. she took my order, said it would be about 15 min to prepare.. I had someone waiting to pick my order up.. she told them she felt bad bc the kitchen staff never bothered fixing the order.. I never received a courtesy call back saying they couldn’t prepare the order…
