Pier 27 is a hidden gem. Service is always good. Food is very good. Fish and shrimp are excellent. Many entrees for $15. Meals come with complementary gumbo or beans or both and hush puppies. We usually spend about $20 per person, and leave full and happy.

Daughter in law ordered a medium rare steak and it came out well done. The manager came by to check on everything and immediately took care of the problem with her steak. We always have amazing service and great food.

I was pleasantly surprised by Pier 27! I’m usually very hard on catfish restaurants in general, and I put this up close to the top. My fish was great, my wife’s shrimp was great, hush puppies were fresh… Can’t ask for a lot more! Our waitress kept our drinks topped off, and all the staff was super friendly! The inside still looked like I remember Pier 27 looking! We will be back!
