Pier Patio Rub in Old Orchard is situated at the end of the pier, offering a fantastic ocean view. Unfortunately, that’s where the highlights end. The food was mediocre, and the prices seemed too high for what was served. The service, though friendly, was quite slow, leaving us with mixed feelings about the overall experience. While the ocean view was pleasant, I believe there are better places to dine in the area, and I’m unlikely to return.

Best restaurant view in the entire city. I think some of the food may be frozen, which is odd for a restaurant on the coast, at least as far as seafood goes. The drinks are great, pricey but normal for the area. Atmosphere is great! Staff is friendly! Steep food prices, Didn’t expect to spend near 100$ on appetizers and one adult drink & 3 childrens beverages…

Fryed haddock and chicken tender was good. Popcorn shrimp frys and onion rings was warm but not crispy. Little to be desired. Staff was friendly. Food came quickly. View is beautiful I guess that’s what you’re paying for.

I was hesitant to go to a restaurant on a tourist pier, but the food and drinks were fantastic!! Great view of the pier and everyone enjoyed their meals a lot! I got the clam chowder and scooped every drop. Definitely recommend it!

One of the best views anywhere. Food is decent enough. Compared to other places in town, it’s as good as it gets. Pricey, but what isn’t in OOB? I’d still recommend it. Definitely don’t order the crab rangoons though. They’re not going to be what you’d think they’d be.

I liked the vibe of the place and the views were awesome. Ambrosia, our waitress, was cute and excellent with a great attitude. However, I didn’t particularly like my meal. I had the haddock and shrimp combo with fries. The serving size was the smallest I’ve had since being in the area and it tasted overcooked. Shrimp and fries were ok. Others in the group were ok with their meals but the haddock that was on a friends plate tasted overcooked as well.

Wow. I have, simply put, never had a worse meal cumulatively with my family.

Such an experience all in its own. You’re right there on the peirce at the end, looking out to the little islands around the bay. Just beautiful. Seafood, beer, cocktails, hamburgers, IPAs, and so much more.

Pretty standard fare for tourists around here. The food was nothing to write home about since I have had better lobster and clams at Red Lobsters back home. The clams were overcooked, the lobster a watery mess and portions on my son’s steak sandwich were pretty pathetic. The wait staff however was absolutely awesome and did an excellent job keeping track of our very large order. When it comes to atmosphere it is unique eating on a pier but nothing too new or special at many of these beach towns catering to tourists.

So if you come here for a night out when the club is open, depending on who you are and what time you get there the cost to get in may differ. We walked in to come in and were told some of the people we had with us couldn’t get in. No big deal we walked them back to the room And came back and they told us the fee to get in doubled. So we thought weird okay… didn’t make a big deal of it… got in line to go upstairs to the dance floor. Got up there and ordered a drink tipped the bartender. Went over to the other side of the dance floor finished my drink and bought another one. Same drink same place about 20 minutes difference in time and boom my drink is now $2. Did I tip the bartender no tf I didn’t because why is my drink more expensive on this side of the room. Makes absolutely no sense. Then the sober bar tender starts screaming and flipping me off. I’m sorry but to have different prices for the same thing at the same place should be illegal. That’s some shady business ethics going on there.
