This is the real deal! The pickle soup brought me back to a little soup shop in downtown Warsaw circa 2006.

Food came out pretty quick. Got the potato bacon and cheddar Pierogies. They were delicious and decently sized. Definitely recommend if looking for some Polish food in Morristown.

I decided to try this place after reading good reviews on Google, and it did not disappoint. My fellow Google reviewers, you were right! It’s in downtown Morristown, and the place is not so big, so the sittings may be limited for dine-in if they are busy. I ordered potato & farmer’s cheese and jalapeno bacon and cheese pan-fried pierogies. Also, I ordered the Polish platter, which came with kielbasa (sausage), stuffed cabbage, and three pierogies. Everything was delicious!!! If I have to compare, I liked the potato & farmer’s cheese pierogies more than the other one I ordered, but they were all good. If you are in town and in the mood for Polish food, check out this place!

I had the vegan potato pierogies. They were good. The potato filling was so fresh. I had the vegan sour cream. That was weak, so I didn’t use it. Instead, I maid my own topping. I asked for vinegar, was given white. I would have preferred balsamic, but they didn’t have it. Anyway, I put white vinegar and tabasco sauce on the pierogies, and that made the dish pop! A good meal became great thanks to my fixing-up. (Not bragging, just giving a creative suggestion).

First time today at Pierogie House. New experience thanks to the internet. Wife and I had 6 courses delibrately to sample overall menu from soup to desert. My family is from same region as chef owner. I was raised on this fare and have been eating it for 83 plus years. I also cook my versions of everthing I ate today. I learned how to cook from my chef Mom. The food to me is very authentic and of good quality and fairly priced. Everything tasted fresh especially the salads. I only ate traditional Polish preparations today,so I have no comment on American variations. Very nice option to get pierogie boiled or fried. Great touch since I prefer my desert pierogie bokied to get the juices out of the fruits. I will definitely go back for a second round with friends soon. My only disapointment was Evalina was not there to thank for maintaining our traditional Polish foods here in the USA.. Gene Niemiec, Cedar Grove, NJ
