I stopped here for dinner since I seen it was trending on Raleigh food pages. I had the fried calamari as an appetizer which was okay. I have had better. The main course I got the shrimp pesto which was very bland to me. It has a light taste of pesto with it. I do appreciate the shrimp was cooked just right and not chewy. To drink I got a wild berry margarita which was pretty good.

We went here for a birthday dinner and it was PERFECT. The service was excellent from the hostess, to managers, to the server. The food was prepared to perfection and HUGE portions. We were able to sub the house salad with our meals for a caprese salad and Caesar for a small upcharge. They give you house bread and olive oil for dipping. I got the house Pinot Grigio which was delicious!!! The calamari was FANTASTIC. I absolutely LOVED the basil shrimp and my husband enjoyed his short rib ragu. The portions were huge and we both somehow devoured every last bite. We were stuffed and didn’t get to dessert. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. One of my favorite restaurants ever now and will definitely be back – and will save room for dessert!

Phenomenal, authentic, and very flavorful Italian joint. Wifey and I were very pleased and blown away with the choices we went with. She got the Duck ricotta gnocchi bolognese, and I got the Short beef ragu. Easy 10/10 dishes. The fried calamari (my first time) was ridiculously good. I love that everything is fresh here. Will for sure be here again and again… The tiramisu was .

I tried Pieros for the first time during restaurant week. My reservation was for 7:30 pm for a standard table. We were seated on a high top at 8:00 pm. We waited 20 more min before someone arrived at our table. The restaurant week menu needed to be requested separately but finally were able to order. The food arrived at different times and was wrong. Food was taken from the table and took 15 more mins for our party member to receive the right order. By the time we finished some of the desserts we ordered were not available and only gave us one option as an alternative. In the end, the chef came to the table and apologized, and offered us a drink. 2 of us accepted but only one drink arrived. The servers were very friendly but clearly were not prepared for the number of people that day. The food was good but not particularly special. I hope it was an off night but our experience was disappointing.

The service was good and everyone was very nice. The food was good but it didn’t wow me. It was solid, standard Italian-American fare. The stuffed dates were really nice. The bread was good but seemed grocery store bought. duck ragout was really salty but tasty and the duck was really tender. The gnocchi was packaged.

One of the worst Italian places I’ve ever been to. Who cooks/bakes the bruschetta with the tomatoes on it? Cheese…? Why? Italian cuisine is about simplicity and these were nothing but soggy chunks of bread with an unnecessary amount of cheese.
