My wife and I moved to the area a little over a week ago, and have already eaten at this restaurant twice. We will definitely be going back again soon.

In fairness, I’ve never eaten at Pierpoint as just the restaurant, but I’ve gotten the boxes, and done a few of the cooking classes/dinners and always had a positive experience. I learn a lot, eat well, and there’s always interesting company. Definitely give them a try!

We found this place a few years ago. It has never let us down. This is the spot for engagements, babymoons, whatever is special to you. We send everyone here. The food is amazing. The owner has so many awesome stories. For us it is a 45 minute+ drive. But we make it as often as possible. One of our favs for sure.

Such a great find in Baltimore! Friendly staff and very hospitable. The food was delicious! The owner filled us in on some local history and was nice enough to make me some hot tea to go. Great place! Highly recommend!

I took a cooking class here and it was the most fun I’ve ever had! The owner is friendly and personable, the instructions were clear and printed for us to take home! There was tons of food left for us to take home afterwards and the class was about 4 1/2 hours long. Totally worth it!!

My friends and I recently went to a cooking class here. Upon arrival, we sat down, and the chef discussed all the recipes – I felt this 20-30 minute discussion was unnecessary as she just read us the recipes. While you do receive 8-10 recipes, be warned that you do not cook all of those yourself. Each person in the cooking class worked on a recipe while the chef walked around and gave some tips. It was less of a class, and more of a baptism by fire method of learning. The recipes are not completely accurate as it leaves some items out on the ingredients list while you may need them toward the end of the recipe. If your top love language is words of affirmation, this may not be the class for you as you won’t be receiving that here. Maybe try the kids class? The chef was very argumentative and defensive any time a question was asked or an ingredient was missing. Not all of the ingredients were in one location either, so it made it difficult to gather all the items for your recipe. Overall, it was very chaotic and disorganized with little instruction on how to do things. Before we could even clean our area, we were being yelled at about disorganization and not keeping it clean whilst the entirety of the class was disorganized. Some of the recipes required special methods of cooking, and rather than showing us/teaching us, they would just take the food to the back and do it themselves and bring it out. Had I wanted to just eat a random assortment of Indian food, this would have been great. The intention of taking the cooking class, however, was to actually learn something. Any attempt made to learn something resulted in being yelled at or being criticized about doing something wrong even though we weren’t really receiving instruction. The food was good at the end! (Note:* if you’re lactose intolerant, make sure to inquire about how many recipes have dairy as a LOT of dairy was used)
