My business partner and I have been wanting to try Pierre’s. We finally made it in today and I am so glad that we did! I had the Jerk Chicken with rice, Sweet Potatoes and Mac and Cheese. Let me tell you, the service was great. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the hostess and the owner! The food came quickly and was perfectly piping hot! The portions were perfect! You get A LOT of food! Pierre introduced us to his family that was there and spoke with us the whole time and was very gracious and friendly.

Literally just left. I ordered the ribs, rice and gravy, and mac and cheese. The food was good. However, the customer service from the waitress I had was not good. I’m not sure if she was upset with me or what. I was there before 2 guests, and she decided to assist them before me. OK, cool. Nevertheless, when I was in the process of leaving and asked her for a bag, she told me, “He has you (mind you he was assisting customers at the register when I was dinning in),” not to mention she provided bags for the customers right beside me. So why not just hand me a bag? Once I saw she was not in the mood to assist me, I just happily gathered my things and headed to the register. I guess it’s better to dine in with others or order to go. I hate this happened. Maybe it’ll be better next time.

Me & a relative ate there for the first time we both got collards rice with gravy smothered pork chops and she had macaroni and cheese for her extra side the gravy taste like a pound of sugar had been poured in it the collards had sweet texture also. I’m willing to give it another try but I won’t get the collards or anything with gravy I ended up sick overnight…

First time visiting from Columbia, SC and everything was delicious. Owner and staff very pleasant. Food was fresh and hot. Warning be prepared not to do any work after lunch….lol. Will definitely visit again when in the area. Nothing like great customer service.

I usually don’t reviews but I went there to get a meal on Sunday with a friend. We were greeted and given an option of either a low or high table by the hostess. We chose a low table and then saw a woman next to the young lady who in a hushed tone said to the young lady that we don’t need a low table and we can go sit at a high one instead because we are young. She turns to us after having that conversation, not knowing we heard her and guilt trips us into choosing a high stool table saying that “elderly customers were coming in behind us and need to sit there because they can’t sit comfortable at a high table-unless we don’t care”. We just took the high table and plenty of customers after us that weren’t elderly were seated in low tables in another area of the establishment without getting pressed to sit at a high table. No big deal but not fair and bothered me knowing that I came here for the first time trying to support a local black business. If you didn’t want us to sit there..just say that, don’t offer it and don’t include age as a factor in it because I myself could’ve had a disability regardless of age. Great food and the owner was there, very SWEET and social but that incident was very unprofessional, not discrete at all and kind of rude. She could’ve went about it in a better way. When I’m coming to spend money in this certain situation my age shouldn’t have been a factor.

Great service, really good food. We had ribs, bbq wings, collards, beans, okra, sweet potatoes, more than enough food and it was delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.
