We came on a Saturday around 1 pm. It was pretty crowded, but we didn’t wait but a few minutes for a table. The place is much smaller than I expected, so I can’t imagine bringing karaoke or other events without it being too loud. The place was a little cold, so I had to grab a jacket. Brandy was our server & bartender. They have a full bar so she was willing to make me an alter drunk than was was on the menu. She was great!! All of the food was great especially the garlic knots.

This is a great neighborhood pizza place. We had take out the first time and finally got to dine in today. Everything was delicious. This is really excellent pizza. Also recommend the P.O.P Chips.

It’s a fun atmosphere with a great menu. They have a nice selection of specialty pizzas, and if nothing suits you, there is the option to build your own. There are significant offerings beyond pizza, so if you’ve got diverse appetites in your party, you will have options. There’s a full bar, and you can watch them work the pizza oven, which I’m sure is harder than it looks! Trivia night Wednesday every week is a fun weekday activity. It’s easy to recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed in the food.

Installed their POS network and had the pleasure of seeing the kitchen and pies being made. They are extremely clean and prepared. I will definitely bring my family for food!

We considered ourselves regulars, so I make this review with a great deal of validity. I also used to work at a well known and award winning napoletana-style pizza restaurant down in Atlanta, so I have a good bit of experience back in the kitchen making this type of pizza.

Went to pies on post today for lunch, arriving at 1:45pm on a Saturday. Upon walking in it was fairly full and busy with patrons, but not so busy to where we didn’t have a seat at the bar. Including us there were 26+ customers, leaving only two vacant tables. To our surprise a friendly customer starting assisting us at the bar because – by design – P.O.P. only staffs one person to wait on the entire restaurant as well as the bar until 4:30pm on Saturdays. Though a small restaurant, my family and I were so disappointed to see P.O.P. design their staffing that way. We’ve eaten here 8+ times and thoroughly enjoy the food, but 3 cooks to only 1 – seemingly teenage – wait staff who’s also expected to bartend while offering a “brunch” menu, is just such poor business. The woman did her absolute best and was very sweet, but her stress was palpable and understandably so. Thoroughly disappointed and more than likely won’t be back any weekend soon. NOTE: service grade of 1/5 stars is not due to the waitress’ service, but more so the abysmal situation her bosses and the owners put her into.

Good pizza, drinks are a bit overpriced but the vibe was casual and friendly. Our server was in a rush to end her shift and came over to our table about 10 times in 15 minutes (to ask if we needed anything) which signaled we should wrap up quickly. Garlic bread knots were average and so was the margarita pizza.

Not sure why anyone would rate Pies on Post less than 5 stars but if I could give them more than 5 stars I would. In an area that lacks delicious pizza Pies on Post sets the bar high.

Finally a pizza place that our while family can agree on! And it is close by, to boot. Friday is always takeout Pizza Night for us, and it is hard to find a place we all really enjoy. Usually someone has a complaint—too greasy, the crust is too sweet / too dry / too soggy, the sauce is too chunky. But not last night—everyone loved it! We ordered a Pepperoni, a Buffalo Chicken pizza, and the Arugula Prosciutto pizza. All were delicious. The woodfired oven delivered a crisp tender crust that everyone enjoyed, and the ingredients were tasty and perfectly balanced. We will definitely be repeat customers!
