We came across this cute place walking around New Orleans at lunch time! We had the rabbit and sausage gumbo and loaded BBQ fries. Both were great!! The only downside is there is only around 3-4 tables for seating inside so if they are busy you’ll need to get it to go. The food was good and the prices were about average for NOLA.

Food was good, staff was friendly! It was a comfortable evening to sit outside. 2 of us got pulled pork sandwiches and one of us got the jambalaya. Everything tasted really good- not the best bbq I’ve ever had but definitely worth the price. After we ordered, someone mentioned the brisket was the best thing on the menu so I wish I would’ve ordered that! Overall, good experience!

We stumbled upon Pig out and it’s hilarious chef, by chance for lunch today. We liked it so much we invited some others to join us for lunch. I had the pork platter which came with pulled pork, beans, Mac N Cheese and coleslaw. The entire platter was large enough to share, although I didn’t want to. When you order, be sure to ask the Chef which dish is his favorite, he loves that question ( wink)

Atmosphere was good. Service was quick. Gal at counter was nice but not engaged and was eating food herself at the cashier at counter.

My wife and I stopped in today because we had a taste for something other than seafood and creole food. We saw all the good reviews for Pig out Nola and just had to try it out! I ordered the brisket platter that came with baked beans, Mac & cheese and coleslaw. Every damn thang I had on my tray was very, very good! The brisket was very tender and juicy. The sauces that they had were also great. We also ordered the Duck & Andouille gumbo that was some of the best gumbo that me and my wife ever tasted! The atmosphere and staff were so great! I will definitely stop by and you should too!

Stopped for dinner, had the ribs (some of the best I’ve ever had!), they were tender and moist with excellent bbq flavor. Also enjoyed the beans, Mac-n-cheese, fries and Cole slaw. Will definitely go back and make this a new regular stop!

sides were okay for the price, but the brisket and the ribs were the most tender and juicy I’ve ever had. By design, the meat has minimal seasoning as to not disturb the flavor of the quality meat and family legacy technique. Add some of their sauces if you wish, but I’d recommend a nibble of everything before tampering with it. Enjoy the the French Quarter’s hustle and bustle passing by, while you enjoy some finger licking, umami packed, I can’t believe it’s not butter, smoked by an angel, barbeque!

Let me start by saying…THE FOOD IS AMAZING! I got the pulled pork platter with all three sides (beans, coleslaw, macaroni & cheese). The platters are enough to split between two adults. Our friend had the tri-tip platter and the portion was huge, and amazing as well. Before you slather the pulled pork with BBG sauce might I recommend you just add the sweet pickles and onions. The meat is smoked to perfection and should be savored and enjoyed.

Found this place by chance walking around and it was amazing BBQ right in the French quarter. Brisket platter was just the right size and loved the rub. Wife had the brisket tacos, she thought they were amazing with a tangy sauce.
