Unfortunately, this was a disappointment. They’re cash only and the ATM almost ate my card. So we had to leave and find an ATM somewhere else. I was only willing to go through the trouble because I remembered the mac & cheese being fantastic when I went a few years back. But they must have changed the recipe because it was very packaged tasting. Won’t be coming back, unfortunately.

This place has been a fun detour on mountain adventures for 2 decades for us. The decor is wonderfully cluttered with 1970’s-80’s advertising statues and signs. The cheeseburger is one of the best around. The ice cream variety is so yummy, especially the peach. Make this a stop in your next adventure!

Every home town should have a diner like this! Definitely a “locals place.” I went in craving a good cheeseburger and I got it! The burger patty was seasoned, juicy with crispy edges. The deluxe comes with lettuce, tomato, onion & mayo. You can get all the way with chilli & onions too. The young lady at the register was super friendly. Around 630pm and they were fairly busy. The menu is huge & prices are cheap! After your meal you can walk around next door to the ice cream shop. I feel so lucky to live near a family friendly diner like this. Everyone knows everyone and if you don’t you’ll still feel at home. The gentleman next to me even offered to pay for my meal! Thank you kind sir! I will definitely be back to order what he got…a barbecue plate as they look so delicious and many sides to choose from.

The price is great for the home hand pattied hamburger,with fresh loaded toppings! The Pattie Melt was wonderful! Juicy, And the burger was thick with plenty of natural flavor. We ordered a side of FF for one and TaterTots on the other and we couldn’t finish them! We will go back!!

My first visit so I ordered a cheeseburger and tater tots. You can tell a lot about a kitchen from those two foods. The burger was quite tasty and the tots were crispy and cooked perfectly. I understand the pork BBQ is good, too. This lunch spot is now on my radar.

Piggy’s is fun place to eat. There is plenty of interesting local curiosities from local sources for decor. The food is always good and the daily specials are usually the way to go for a great bargain that includes a drink.

This is a must stop if you are in Hendersonville. I had the BBQ pulled pork plate with slaw, fries, toast, hush puppies, and beans. This is lots of food. The BBQ with their special sauce and the slaw with nice but unique flavor are to write home about. The rest was well prepared but more ordinary. Then I had the raspberry chocolate chip ice cream. This is a great stop. The atmosphere is unique as well with lots of memorabilia on the walls. Check it out! Oh and the staff are friendly and efficient.
