We were very excited to try Pijja Palace. A fusion between the best of Italian and Indian food. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed at the end when we visited on a Saturday night. We didn’t have a reservation but thankfully the front was able to find us a space at the bar with no wait so that was nice. Otherwise I’d highly recommend reserving beforehand so you have a comfortable table. Our waiter at the bar wasn’t very friendly and just wanted to get our order in. We started with the navy cocktail and onion rings. Those were the best things we had unfortunately. The pasta and pizza were fine but the flavors of everything were pretty bland and to be honest I feel like didn’t work together. I was glad I tried it but I don’t think I’ll be returning for the hype of this. By the way they don’t do the okra fries anymore which is disappointing because that’s supposedly was one of their best dishes from reading older reviews. Parking is limited so id recommend looking for street parking and make sure you read the street signs! Warning I forgot to mention they add a 19% service charge. Note this is not gratuity and is pay for the servers heath insurance and subsidize their salary. You are expected to pay another 20% tip on top of that. Very excessive in my opinion but perhaps that’s the European in me.

Very interesting concept! Sports bar (large TV screens everywhere) that serves Indian inspired Italian cuisine. The highlights for us where the pastas (especially the Malay Rigatoni). Wasn’t too big of a fan of the green chili chutney pizza, but I guess you have to try it if you’re there. The Bbq tenders and the spicy garlic bread I’d skip. The chai soft serve was ok, nothing special. Overall, very interesting experience, would recommend trying it out at least once since it’s such a unique concept.

Absolutely unreal. Malai rigatoni is a must. Save your sauce to dip everything else in! Nihari lamb and shells was by far my favorite but our server had top tier recommendations all the way around. Friendly, sports bar service. Such a unique space with unique flavors to match. Brought my brother and Dad visiting from Texas and none of us knew what to think with all the new flavors in a familiar context. Thanks for having so many interesting non-alcoholic beverage options. Such a fun experience. 10/10 recommend!

Heard how great this place was then read some other reviews that said it was overhyped. Either way, I was looking forward to tasting what all the commotion was about. I’m ambivalent toward Indian cuisine and just a regular spaghetti guy when it comes to Italian but gonna say, this place was great. Besides the food just being delicious and flavorful, here’s the weird reasons why I additionally liked the food here. The thin flaky crust on both the chutney and green Tikka pizza. I liked the chutney pizza slightly better. The rigatoni was softer than al dente (my friend says it’s cuz I grew up on chef boyardee lol). The red wings had a small kick to it but definitely a whoa factor. We started off with some onion rings and they were fine but could probably pass next time. I only gave the place 4 stars for ambiance because of the loudness but it’s a sports bar afterall. But yes, the dinner was great.

had such high hopes for this casual indian fusion spot but was extremely disappointed. each dish was way too salty and lacked the depth of flavor expected from indian food. would not come back.

A carnival for your senses is how best I can describe it. The chefs here take traditional Indian flavors and elevate them with unexpected ingredients and inventive techniques, full of surprising twists resulting in dishes that are as intellectually stimulating as they are certified nomalicious.

A slightly on the pricier side, but totally worth it if you are celebrating an occasion or something with a loved one.

Finally got a reservation and tried this place. Good vegetarian options but didn’t really love the vibe. Too many TVs, it was super loud so you can barely here someone taking. The food was good.

I’d give this more of a 3.5. Cool Indian-Italian fusion sports bar/restaurant with casual fare. Lot of things going on.

We never knew a fusion of Italian and Indian food could be so amazing! The Malai Rigatoni is a perfect blend of vodka sauce and spice. Everything on the menu is spicy. The Red Wings have that amazing spice. The ranch was amazing. It has dill and cilantro.
