Great food, great experience and wonderful place for date night or dinner with a friend. We got the halibut, scallops and the shrimp appetizer. Highly recommend all of them for their flavor and portion sizes! Glad to have more food options in our neighborhood. Will be back to try the fish and chips and more!

We were told about this restaurant by a friend and decided to go for a date night outing. The atmosphere was lovely and quaint, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We ordered the ahi tuna nachos (must-try) they were fantastic! The entire menu sounded so good we couldn’t decide what to get. After much deliberation my husband ordered the Prarie Fire and I ordered the Figgy Chicken. Both were absolutely delicious. The chef is amazing and all the flavors in each component of the dish were thoughtful and delicious.

Eclectic options full of flavor! We had the Honolulu Cobb and the Pine and Black Burger. You can tell the difference in the quality of the food. The location is very clean and has a good ambience. The team is professional and kind. We also enjoyed our Old Fashioned and French Press.

Ambitious and well chosen menu. Very good food. The burger was excellent. The scallops were perfectly done. The penicillin drink I ordered was a bit watered down. And the goat appetizer was not for us. Canon, our server was terrific. And the ambience of the restaurant is excellent.

I recently moved back to Nebraska after living in Seattle for ~12yrs. The menu is very reminiscent of traditional PNW flavors. It’s like they blended all the great places from the Puget Sound and distilled them into a single menu. So happy this place exists! The “Toshi teriyaki” was delicious, and a good way to satisfy a craving. Prices are reasonable for food, our bill was a bit steep because the cocktails were so tasty. The staff were great and the location very convenient for us; which is great given how good that Mai tai is!! One suggestion/request, could you import some Chuckanut Pilsner or Boundary Bay IPA?

Quickly becoming a date night favorite for us! Our second visit was just as good as the first, and our server, Michaela, absolutely shined with helpful recommendations and cheerfulness. This place truly leans into the herbs and spices – everything you order will have resonant flavor. We love that! The Honolulu Cobb salad is deliciously fresh and tangy and surprisingly spicy, the Encinitas Tacos are hot, robust, and addictive, the steak and frites are so satisfying and practically demand a red wine for full effect … we could go on. Even better, you should go here.

This restaurant is amazing. We had 4 different meals last night and all were perfect. We eat at a lot of restaurants in the area and this is one of the best. Check it out. We had the Figgy Chicken, Halibut, Bistro tender, and Ribeye. We also got the roasted Brussels and califlour. So good. Like I said everything was amazing.

Good but not great. Tomato bisque was over spiced and the overall flavor was underwhelming like a can of soup with too much spice. The flavor of the clam chowder was great, but the potatoes were too large to eat without cutting them, the clams were chewy which usually means they’re overcooked and I had to remove a whole bay leaf from it. The spinach salad was good but slightly overdressed for my taste. I’d ask for it on the side side next time and I had to remove a piece of shallot skin from my salad as well. Our waitress was attentive and very polite, but another staff member spoke loudly on a phone the entire time we were there which we found annoying. The dessert was the high point. We shared the Vancouver Island Nanaimo Bar and it was decedent and delicious. I’m hoping since this location is new, they will improve over time. I’ll try them again.

Had a wonderful dinner and drinks with great service in a nice setting. My wife had a nice Sauv Blanc that she really enjoyed and my “Bees Knees” cocktail with blueberry gin was excellent. She thought the salmon tacos were amazing and even the corn shells were some of the best she’d had. How they were so crunchy yet didn’t fall apart when you bit into them was a mystery. I had the Pacific cod and chips with an incredible panko crust. The fries that accompanied it were fantastic also. Attentive service completed our experience. We’ll be back to try more items as they have a unique menu with a lot of options. Great local place that deserves a try. You won’t be disappointed.
