If you find yourself looking at this hidden location… turn around – and RUN away. I visited for a friend’s birthday event and that was a great time; however since I missed the buffet… I decided to order some food with my family as we were all hungry. First and foremost – the staff is clueless.. absolutely clueless; however tried really REALLY hard! Therefore they get a high service star rating. The food was ridiculously overpriced for freezer reheatings… perhaps they’re trying to compensate for the lack of customers based on the pricing! Seriously… I spent $60 on three small appetizers – $22 on Coconut Shrimp with only three shrimp! If this place was popular or fancy, perhaps they’d get a small pass; but it’s old, run down and gives off an uncomfortable vibe. Outside, it was beautiful and the party/event was great! Again, I can’t imagine how this place stays open as a restaurant – perhaps the bar does enough money to support all of the above? Or maybe the patrons are so drunk that they’ll eat the food. Regardless, feel free to check it out yourselves – just don’t blame me for the bad experience.

I recently hosted a family get together at the Pine Grove Inn in East Patchogue and couldn’t be more happy with the service and staff. This venue offers an amazing sunset and outdoor patio, perfect for any event. The wait staff was attentive to my guests and the owner made sure I was pleased with the service. Oof. If you somehow find yourself here, turn back. Went to an event here and while the staff was nice no one seemed knowledgeable, the food was overpriced for what we got, and I would not recommend or return to be completely honest. The building was old and dated. Nice outdoor space. Wings were good.

Had a fantastic experience at the Pine Grove in yesterday…. stopped by for an early dinner and immediately fell in love with the amazing waterfront seating and excellent live music, the cover band Mach 5, which played tons of classics and helped make it a remarkable and memorable experience.

We pulled up on my friends boat, I had been there before to see a band, but this is the first time I ordered food here. The baked clams were really excellent. Both me and my buddy would consider ourselves connoisseurs when it comes to baked clams on the Island. Great service from Terri and friendly manager Delia. Chill, neighborhood waterfront vibes.

My suggestions for improvement are to have the staff better trained on how to wait on tables, and perform some of the tasks more efficiently. This place held a fun event with live entertainment and a great D.J. .The space is very nice and more people should visit it because it’s a little hidden gem by the water. We wanted food, entertainment, and a place to dance- and Pine Grove is a diamond in the rough. You need to go there WITH a large group of friends because I think the general public doesn’t find it very easily.

My husband and I visited the Pine Grove Inn this past weekend and had a pleasant dining experience. We started with two bowls of French Onion Soup – some of the best we’ve had and we’ve tried many such soups at various restaurants! The lamb chops were cooked to perfection and the sides we selected (broccoli and mashed potatoes) were also very good. We had several glasses of the house cabernet, made especially for the Inn – a light and airy wine that was the perfect (and affordable) accompaniment to our meal. We topped our dinner off and shared the chocolate mousse cake which also was solidly good. The servers were cordial and professional, and the overall ambiance was quaint and cozy on a cold winter’s night.

I took my mom to The Pine Grove Inn for her birthday. It was a Friday night, and there was a band playing. We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and music. When the staff heard it was my mom’s birthday, they decorated her dessert with a delightful ‘Happy Birthday’ message on her plate. The staff was very attentive and the food was excellent! I highly recommend this beautiful restaurant. They also have private banquet rooms.
