This place gets packed really quick! Some of the employees are really nice and the others are not great with their customer service. Every now and then they get my order wrong and i dont even bother trying to get it fixed because the wait is just to long. Regardless, food is great and the ones who are actually pleasant to serve you are great.

Very nice – not just cakes, desserts, pastries, Cuban coffee, and you can order breakfast too.

Wonderful people, wonderful service. Only complaint is they pretty much always get my order wrong. I get a pan con tortilla and I say “no onions” they tell me the pan con tortilla doesn’t bring onions, so I go and open my pan con tortilla and guess what… it has ONIONS. I hate this.

I LOVE this place! My family and I come here very often and usually late at night or very early in the morning like 5:00am and we’ve always been greeted friendly and have had nothing but the best service. There are particularly 2 girls that work the graveyard shift that extremely helpful and sweet. Will continue to visit.

Stopped in around 5:45 am after seeing it open. We had some pastries, croquettes, potato ball & Cafe con leche. Service was decent & items were good. I didn’t like the soft inside of the chicken croquettes texture but taste was there.

My wife and I have eaten at the Pinecrest Bakery on 79th St. In Miami for years and we love it. Recently though We moved to South Miami where there’s a small Pinecrest Bakery on Bird Road. I’ve now been there twice and am seriously considering never returning. Mainly, the service is just terrible. I get the feeling that because I don’t speak much Spanish there is a certain level of disrespect being offered with the food. Good service is a necessity for me, that’s just it and I’m not feeling it there. Ironically, when I had been paying the tab as I ordered at the counter their card machine was programmed to select one of three options for tips starting at 15% even though I wound up making three trips to the counter to pickup my food, coffee and OJ. The woman behind the counter seemed annoyed as I was seeking a no tip option. There is one showing but no option to select it. My read on that is that they purposely make it more difficult to not tip. COVID seems to have given some people the notion that we should now tip for everything. Sorry, not this guy!

Unlike any other Pinecrest bakery, this one is the only one for us! The service is PERFECT every single time no matter how busy they are. The food is spot on and genuinely true Cuban cuisine. The sandwiches are simply delicious and the pastries are baked to perfection! The ladies that work there are amazing and very dedicated to their work as they make your coffee exactly as you order it each time with a smile on their face. Wilfredo ( flaco) is exceptional in his own way:-) he actually remembers your favorite items and just makes your experience a complete joy. The ambiance is family oriented and always clean no matter how busy they are they keep this place spotless!

I went in about 8:45am and ordered an Ham & Cheese empanada and 2 croquetas. Nothing tasted good and very disappointing. Not very welcoming either. Do not recommend this “bakery” at all.
