One of my favorite coffee spots in Waco! The staff is always super nice, the coffee is steaming and delish, the music is on point…but it’s the courtyard that wins my heart. Sitting outside under the oaks while I work makes computer time not-so-bad.

Adorable coffee shop with a great ambiance. It’s a sweet place to sit and stay a while. There’s plenty of seating, good music and a cozy feel, overall I loved the place. I would note that their coffee is a bit pricey for the amount you get.

Despite the huge number of quality competitors, Pinewood is, by far, my favorite Waco coffee shop. The vibes are always on top, the drinks are fantastic, and the merch is great too. Plus, the Huey Lewis is my favorite controversially-delicious drink (don’t knock it till you try it!) and I’ve never found a quality dupe, so that earns it some bonus points.

Delicious coffee. My wife and I always get basic hot lattes with the house brown sugar syrup added. Always great music playing on their record player. We prefer the giant outdoor seating area. Covered under a massive live oak tree. One of our favorite places in Waco!

I grew up around Waco and since moving away it’s gotten way cooler? Idk. This place had really great coffee. I loved the aesthetic and it seems like a nice place to hangout a while, but we were in a grab-and-go situation. The latte was way smaller than normal for the price point. While the coffee was quality and it had a nice vibe, I think I’ll try somewhere new next time we drive through town.

Great authentic experience place for coffee and studying. We came to work and there wasn’t a spot open! Thankfully the sun was shining and we could sit outside for a bit. The guy taking orders was great, the coffee makers seemed frustrated and had some attitude for a Sunday!

The drip coffee is very good. This place has a great atmosphere and freat customer service. The only negative is it doesn’t have 2 turntables and a microphone… Only 1 turntable, but the music is very appropriate for a coffee house vibe.

A place I could visit every day. Staff is super friendly and sweet. The drinks are delicious and the atmosphere makes you feel safe and at home. A great place to journal, read, or work on school.

The best coffee in Waco and it isn’t particularly close. Baristas are trained more consistently here than anywhere else in town. If you come here, you’ll get a quality beverage pretty much every time. Music is nearly always top-notch, though I wish they’d cut out the very occasional country record (just me). Seating can be a bit of an issue but that’s par for the course with many great coffee shops.
