Several members in my family are longtime pizza cooks, ranging from 5 years to 12 years in the business. We simply ordered a large pepperoni pizza, and all agreed this was some of the best pizza we’ve ever had. It’s on the greasy side, but in the best way. The sauce and cheese were absolutely phenomenal. We came back again the next night, and it was just as good.

Great experience, always wanted to commune with nature in a more meaningful way. When me and my wife got our pizza we thanked the waitress but did not tip. As it turns out she was a big green witch who said that “if i wanted to be more in touch with nature than shed help out as best she could.” When I next turned around she had done the impossible and my wife was transformed into a Squirrel! What an incredible experience, I did have to say goodbye to my marsupial wife after we got home but she looks so much happier now.

I absolutely love this place. I visit about once a week. The food is phenomenal and the service is outstanding. They have an amazing selection of different adult beverages. They even keep some local brews on tap. So easy to talk to if you have a suggestion or would like something a certain way. Food is cooked hot not heated up in a microwave. Your money goes far and you leave satisfied. Also you get a salad with every entree, what more could you want.

Service was horrible didn’t get a refilled the entire time untill food was brought out and we saw just everyone on their phone the entire time…. Also food was very expensive for what you got and the 4 cheese pizza was a joke!!! It was just cheese on bread!!! No joke no sauce I cant even believe I spent 25 bucks on that thing and only eat one slice felt gross and left the rest. One one appetizer, a sandwich for my husband, and a pizza for me 50 bucks!!

Today was my last time visiting Pino’s in Appomattox Virginia . My daughter and I ate in for Lunch today after Softball practice on our way home from Lynchburg. When we received our (appetizer)Bacon & Mozzarella Cheese Fries we noticed large pieces of glass throughout the dish. Our waiter took the fries back and apologized. His explanation was something broke last night leaving glass in the cheese and they couldn’t see it so that’s how it ended up in our food. We were still charged full price for our meal and felt sick the whole way home. This is unacceptable and we will not be returning to this establishment.

Having grown up in Appomattox, I’d say that Pino’s is usually pretty decent. The food is fairly priced and tastes like your average pizza place.The services is pretty friendly and the food is pretty quick. Today, while I was eating I noticed that a spider descending from the ceiling. However, it is summer, so I can’t blame them for one insect being in the restaurant. Overall, I’d say it’s a safe choice.

I’ve been going to this location and before that the Farmville location since I moved to Virgina. I’ve never once had a bad experience at the Farmville location but I can honestly say, I’ve never had a good one at the Appomattox location.

The toasted ravioli was divine, along with the bread. However, the pasta sauce was very watery and the noodles were slightly overcooked. My friends noodles were also cold. The service was amazing though!!
