The food is outstanding. They offer menu items that are sourced locally. The service was great. It can get loud depending how busy they are. It is pricey but that is expected for a restaurant at this level. I have had the Mahi Mahi and the New York strip. Both were very good. If you are visiting or live in the area and want to experience a locally sourced fine dinning experience this is your place.

I met friends for dinner, my first experience here and found it to be amazing! The wine list, by the glass, was unique with a varied selection. I had the local speared red snapper and was in heaven. My fiends had dessert, a sourdough brownie and coconut lime cheesecake and found their choices so delicious. I can’t wait to come back to try something else!

So glad that we decided to try PinPoint for dinner during our 1 night in Wilmington. Definitely recommend making a reservation – we ended up with bar seating which is what we preferred. We started our meal with a couple of great cocktails and the bartender introduced me to one of my now favorite drinks – the aviation. The nutty bee’s knees was another great cocktail I tried and they also had a pretty decent wine list. The service was friendly and attentive. They made great recommendations when it came to drinks and food. After we received our first round of cocktails, we had the best hummus I’ve ever tried. It was a sweet potato hummus and it’s been months now and I still talk about it! For entrees we ordered a bottle of red wine and tried the NY Strip and fish special. Both were seasoned and cooked very well and the accompaniments were equally as delicious. Add PinPoint to your list for dinner if you are ever visiting the Wilmington area 🙂

Overall – we enjoyed our meal but there were a few things worth mentioning. All the prices on the menu are “cash prices”, so if you choose to pay with credit/debit they add a surcharge to your bill. I have never seen any restaurant do this before…

The best food! Every bite is so delicious and you can tell it is made with love and care. No tiny portions. You get full and leave happy. Great service. Steve our server and the bartender with the beard (I forget his name) but they are both amazing. Will be back again and again.

Absolutely amazing! One of the best restaurants in Wilmington. From the time we walked in and were greeted by the host, until the time we left, every moment was perfect. Our server Mike was not only knowledgeable about the menu, but he knew the perfect cocktail pairings. Someone who I assume was the manager was very welcoming and friendly, he socialized with us every time he passed our table. The food was out of this world. I truly can’t say enough about this beyond awesome experience.

This was absolutely a great experience from the moment we walked in until we left the restaurant. We were walking around on Friday evening and decided to go into this restaurant that we have heard about from several people. The restaurant had a nice crowd but there were several tables open. We approached the Hostess station and was greeted by “Brook”. She had a welcoming smile and immediately made you feel welcomed at the restaurant. We had hesitation in our voices when we asked if there was an open table for 4 people. She said that would not be a problem and escorted us to a nice table. “Brook” also told us what were her favorite things on the menu when we asked her. She made us feel right at home.

It is a farm to table restaurant. Everything tastes so good, and the service is excellent. Will definitely come back to try different dishes.

Food was delicious. Service (Dylan) was outstanding. Raw local oysters and beef tartare were flavorful starters. Grouper and smoked cauliflower mains were excellent. Parking convenient to location. Energetic atmosphere, not for a quiet dinner conversation, but great to kick off a fun evening. Don’t miss the basil sorbet, either as a palate cleanser or for dessert.

Service was fine and our appetizers were good. However, my NY Strip, which was ordered med rare, came out med well to well done. Due to time contraints, we did not have time to have the kitchen re-cook my meal. I understand mistakes happen, but what really irritated me enough to post this review is that the steak is served sliced. So, the chef, or whomever was cooking, could literally see they had completely overcooked my steak and sent it out anyway. It’s insulting and straight up lazy. The other part that irritated me was that no manager even came to speak to our table about the issue. We were only advised by our server at the end of the meal, that dessert would be on the house. We had lost our confidence in the kitchen by then, and again, we did not have time for desert, so we declined. Would not recommend.
