Food was absolutely delicious!! Service was great by the waitress, she made sure our food was in half portions for me and my husband. We had the brisket poutine (omg-the flavor and tenderness) and we had the Texas burger (cooked to perfection).

Adorable little restaurant in Manahawkin with an interesting and innovative take on Southwestern/Mexican food. Try the rib rolls and the fried rice with brisket-you’ll be glad you did 5 thumbs up!

Excellent food and service. I came here for lunch with my dad. I was happy with my chicken fajita wrap and he loved the pulled pork sandwich. We opted to sit outside. The outdoor area provided a perfect amount of shade on a hot day. The area is also dog friendly!! Heidi the owner came out to greet us and she was very friendly. We will definitely be back!!

Tried Pinto’s Porch for the first time. We enjoyed the food. The place was not busy and it seemed like it took longer than it should have for our food to come out, but maybe they prefer to take their time with preparation to ensure everything is perfect, or maybe they were busy with take-out orders. Nachos were with chicken were interesting, creative, heavy on the whole beans, and enjoyable. Wings were thoroughly cooked which is super important to me. Undercooked chicken is gross and unacceptable. I requested Buffalo style wings, and there seemed to be a little sauce on the plate, but to me, the sauce was undetectable on the wings. Free refills on the sodas, and that’s always greatly appreciated. Overall, a good experience and we will surely go back.

Great local spot! Yummy BBQ and friendly accommodating staff. They have gluten free options and a dedicated fryer. They also have a black bean burger on the menu, gotta try that next time. The pulled pork tacos were delicious and fresh. My son loved his sliders. The smoker out front smells delicious! Happy to have this hidden gem in the neighborhood. Don’t let the logo fool you if you are not into spicy food. The owner and chef accommodated to our son’s needs. We will definitely be back!

What a local hidden gem right across the street from the DMV! We stopped in for lunch and sat outside on the covered patio. It’s rare to find covered outdoor dining so this was a real treat. The food was amazing! My husband and I split the Brisket Burrito that is filled with big chunks of smoked brisket, house beans, and red cabbage slaw. It was so moist yet not sloppy. I hate when goop or sauce oozes all over my hands and such. I admit that it’s a quirk of mine. We got a side order of onion rings that were delightfully crunchy and flavorful. The bathrooms and restaurant were clean. I always check for that. Another quirk I guess! Our server was cordial and efficient. We didn’t feel rushed and pacing was good. The owner, John, came over and asked us how everything was. He was very nice and spent a few minutes talking with us. We took a few menus to share with our neighbors and friends. I live on the west side of The Parkway and suggest anyone over on the west side to take a ride over and give Pinto’s Porch a try. I believe you will not be disappointed. BYOB.

We have been wanting to try this place out since they opened since we have heard nothing but good things. However, we had a not so great first experience. We ordered the chicken tacos, brisket tacos, and pickle fries. We were asked flour or corn tortilla shells and we asked for corn. The corn taco shells FYI are HARD, DRY shells, which would have been nice to know prior to ordering. We assumed they would be soft corn tortillas. When we got home, we noticed that we did not receive chicken tacos, but pork tacos. Per the menu, the chicken tacos were supposed to be shredded with queso fresco and the pork carnitas should have had cilantro and onions. What I received was pork with what seemed to be grated parmesan cheese on top. So I’m not sure if someone thought that the pork was the chicken? Totally stumped there. My husband had the brisket tacos and the taco itself was not filled at all, there was no sauce, and again DRY on a hard shell that literally crumbled to a million little pieces with every bite. Did I say it was dry?? The pickle fries weren’t great either, not bad, just wouldn’t order them again. Maybe this was just a bad night/new cook, but we aren’t in a hurry to come back, thats for sure.

You can’t pass by this eatery without being lured in by the aroma of barbeque in the air! Actually there is a working smoker right outside the front door, which certainly adds to the atmosphere, and gets one’s mouth watering.

After looking at dining options on LBI, we finally decided to eat here. Got all 8 of us in the car and drove off the island out past Mud City same street just farther down the road. Great venue, great service, but outstanding food. From poutine brisket fries, to onion rings, every meal ordered was delicious. How this place isn’t busy with a line out the door, I don’t know. Please if you have never been, give Pinto’s Porch a try. You won’t be disappointed!
