Pio Pio consistently has great service and great food. The main dining room has nice decor but some of the other room’s could you a spruce up in the decor. Not a deal breaker. Just suggesting a little advice to reach 5 stars in the atmosphere rating. Overall they never disappoint. This is a regular go to place for us.

Service was good, server was nice. The food was an absolute nightmare. The salmon was drier than a desert. The frozen red snapper that was supposedly grilled, was microwaved. The canned vegetables tasted like cardboard. The rice was rubbery and bland. The only good thing was the pepsi. 1/10 on the food.

Overall decent visit tonight. I came in for dinner around 6pm; and opted to sit at a table in the bar area versus traditional dining. The restaurant was moderately busy and had a nice atmosphere although the music was extremely low in the bar area.

We have been customers of Pio Pio for quite some time and when we are around the area we stop by. The food is good and consistent and only once we had a bad experience. This time food was good, came out pretty quick and it was made to order. Service started good but then after we got our food we were left until the check came by. At this point, we were surprised by the steep prices on the drinks we ordered and we were told by our server that it was due to everything going up. I understand that prices are going up, but the price that was charged foe the drink is not justified since it is not an upscale cocktail bar. The prices are not listed on their menu, so be aware and ask for prices if you do not want to be surprised as we were. May come back for a meal but drinks are not worthwhile.

I went to this restaurant “by accident” and got such a nice surprise! We had their rotisserie chicke and was EXCELLENT!, natural fruit juices, “chicharron”, “tostones” and fried yuca…. we are making plans to go back soon! I highly recommend it!

This was my first time trying and it was delicious. I was hesitant but the food was so good. Though I ordered to go on-site, people were seated pretty fast. The grilled steak was delicious and juicy. The sweet plantains are perfect, the fried yucca was so good and the sauces took the food to another level. The empanadas are really good too. They’re golden brown and filled perfectly! I would definitely go back. Highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious food. They have this creamy, spicy green sauce that is AMAZING on everything you put it on from tostones to rice to meats and anything else. Drinks are good, strong on the liquor. Overall, delicious meal and reasonably priced at $110 for three people, including 2 drinks and the tip.
