Nice, small cozy Cafe. They have tables or a bar you can sit at. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Restaurant was nice and clean.

Once you eat Pippo’s homemade corned beef hash, you can never go back to the canned stuff again. The coffee is hot and the servers are friendly and attentive.

Such a delight of an old diner. Good food old and very clean setting and slow service. Coffee service was great and steady but the breakfast omelette and hash browns took awhile to arrive. Very nice service staff.

The food was great the staff was outgoing. Very respectful and happy. This mom and papas family owned restaurant is awesome. When i visit Cortez again I will definitely be eating at Pippo’s again.

A classic American diner that’s been there since 1961. We got seated immediately, right at the lunch counter, and the food came out really fast. They have a classic diner menu, with nice options like French toast and coffee for $6, or using French toast as a side option for heartier fare like omelets. I’m always torn between French toast/ pancakes or omelets/hash, and this way I didn’t have to choose, or add one as an a la carte option and have way too much food. I wish every diner did it this way! The food was tasty, the prices were good, and the servers were really nice

A really nice place to stop off for breakfast. Super quick and attentive staff. The menu is a decent size. You step up into the restaurant (they do have outside seating) with plenty of tables and a long counter you are quickly greeted and sat. They asked for the drinks as they were setting up the table (menus, silverware). They take your order and the food arrives fairly quick and they make the rounds asking for coffee refills. The food was excellent the staff was great super friendly. As an out-of-towner I would totally recommend this place.

So I just moved back from Dallas,Tx. And let me tell you about this place. The food was excellent, except for the grits they were a little undercooked that I could have choked on it being too dry. Lol. The best part was having these 2 GORGEOUS women working here. It made it all worth stopping by to catch some breakfast here. I will be back just to see them both for sure now ladies if you’re reading, my name is Leighton.

We’re staying near Mesa Verde and traveled into Cortez for Wifi and lunch/breakfast. We arrived just as they were switching from breakfast to lunch and they allowed us to order from both menus. Tom said his omelette was yummy and my french dip was quite possibly the best french dip I’ve ever had. The meat practically melted in your mouth. We would definitely eat here again and again.
