The food here was outstanding. The flavors are exciting and the presentation is beautiful. Unfortunately while the service started out great it quickly fell off after the hurriedly delivered our food and drinks. We sat outside and the space was pretty dilapidated, uncomfortable, and crowded. Finally, I’d expect any Peruvian place to make a good Pisco Sour but I found theirs way to sweet.

All the dishes we ordered were very delicious. The meat portion was huge and all the flavors were well balanced. Cocktails were tasting too. Plus the service was fast and the servers are attentive and welcoming too. It’s also in a really cute neighborhood and it’s fun to walk around.

This quaint little place on Cortland has the coziest vibe! The inside is like a small home dining room, and the outside parklet they have made extremely warm and comfortable!

Great atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Always fire music! There were not that many pescatarian/vegetarian options though. The staff is so friendly though!!

Nice, not crowded. We sat outdoors. Food was fresh and DELICIOUS!! Staff was attentive and helpful. Choices were great. 2 of us, we shared dishes* and had a great lunch w /dessert!! all after we went on a good hike up and down the hill starting from the mid Mission. My rating on scale of 1 to 5, this last being superb. *Ceviche Mixto r4, with crunchy plantain chips, included great combo of calamari, white fish. other fish, shrimp w/ awesome corn kernels of all kinds!. Side of Yucca r5, good size, with parmesano cheese shavings crunchy outside, soft inside, wonderfulness!. Fusion Peruvian Empanada ◇ with chicken! r5+ amazingly! one serving was of good size for us to split and feel content! We also splitted a large sparkling bottled water. It’s to commend the fact, that this was served, each glass with cut of lime!.

Exquisite tastes and aromas in every detail! I wish we had taken photos but we were so happy to eat. Courteous service with pleasant and well protected outdoor seating on a quiet street, with lovely light Peruvian background music. It is a wonderful place for a relaxing lunch. We will be back to graze down the rest of the menu.

Simple, quiet, relaxing, and offering perfect food… Piqueo’s is a hidden gem of the SF restaurant scene. I’m not sure why I’m only leaving a review now. I’ve been coming here for 2 years, and I love this place more than any other. You can’t go wrong here. The execution of the menu is impeccable every time… seriously, every dish (even the simplest one) is so good and perfectly made. If you want to go out and enjoy food that makes you feel good, it’s delicious every time, and it’s surprisingly great every time you order anything… go to Piqueo’s.

5 stars!! We sat outside near the heat lamps and without even asking, were brought blankets for our legs. The drink was on spot perfect. I wanted more, but promised I’d only have one. The food started coming, each dish more delectable than the previous. Melt in your mouth goodness. The empanadas are 5 star. The salmon ceviche 5 stars and the bbq ribs with homemade coleslaw & sauce was 5 stars. I’ll be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wonderful evening out with my husband. We sat outside on a chilly night on 2/25/23 (coats and heaters kept us plenty warm). This was our first time to Piqueo’s. The servers, to those helping were so friendly and helpful. We did all small plates (the prawns and sweet potatoes our favorite) were satisfying, delicious, the presentation and flavors were amazing. Can’t wait to come back with our daughters and friends.

All appetizer and side items we had were wonderful! Good Sangria. Didn’t see any main entree dishes for vegetarians.
