Great place on campus to grab some amazing pasta. They cook the pasta infront of you and you can choose your own topping. This place is jammed during semester start, I try to avoid it, but it’s empty when a school is done. Went there and we got our order quickly. Ordered the chicken broccoli Alfredo, food was amazing and tasty. Will definitely come back for more pastas and try their panini.

The best thing served here is the pasta. Its the best $10 you’ll ever spend on lunch if you’re willing to wait in the 30 minute queue.

The place serves Build your own pasta and they have plenty of options for everything.

Very long lines and understaffed. The owner obviously doesn’t care enough about the customers to properly staff. This is pasta, not rocket science. You simply need to care enough your customers time and appreciate their business enough to properly staff! 20-25 minutes in line is not acceptable when your pasta is precooked.

Its okay, if you have a meal plan for UB definitely worth a try, and if your on campus and want some really cheep customizable Italian it might be worth it. With that being said I dont even know if you can go here without a meal plan because all of the ordering is online now.

Very poor customer service and total lack of appreciation for customers. I went to place an order in person and pay cash, and like so many restaurants that do not make things easy for their customers, you now are told that they only take online orders. I spent 20-25 minutes downloading and registering on their stupid app and attempting to place an order just to get an app response stating that they are too busy and not taking anymore orders!?!? Well why the hell did you tell me to order through the app in the first place if you are too busy to boil pasta and charge $10 for something that costs .99 cents. Restaurants who severely understaff so the gluttonous owner can drive a brand new mercedes is not a good restaurant, exploits their employees and customers, and is not worth my business.

I give 4 stars for the Bravo Pasta. The “build your own” is a great service, and I’m always pleased with the result. But there’s always a negative with something that popular; the line to get food is typically 20-25 minutes from the time you get there until getting your food. At peak times it’s longer, and then there’s the rare occasion when it’s briefer. Next to Bravo Pasta is an area where sandwiches are made, and I’ve never seen more than 6 people waiting at any time, and some of them are probably there because they don’t want to wait on the line for Bravo Pasta. At the risk of sounding cruel to those who would seek paninis, management should realize that there are just way too many people in the Bravo Pasta line, and replace the sandwich side with another Bravo Pasta station. There’s more food downstairs in the food court, and I’m sure the sandwich diehards can find something palatable there. Another negative is that some students (i.e. children) just cut the Bravo Pasta line to join their friends who are already in line, and nobody says anything. I once spoke up, saying that it’s not fair to the people already in line, and the person who cut (and friends) looked at me like I was insane. They’ll have a wake-up call if they try that in the outside world, but the insular environment at school lets them get away with it, and they get to pretend like they’re still in high school a bit longer.

Probably one of your best options as a student at UB, always good pasta, but you could also make it yourself if you live on campus.

Lines are huge but worth it. Pasta is to die for. Paninis at the Bread Box are a great choice in a rush too.

Highly recommend – Monolito and Maurice really finesse the pasta. It’s fun to watch & even yummier than you’d think. The 30 minute line is worth it for something so cheap and so good!!
