Nice rustic place. The pull pork sandwich and the crinkle fries was delicious. The waitress was attentive and polite. I think her name was Sheryl. I bite before the picture it looked good and smelled good… lol

Food is good but $14 for a sausage sandwich and corn? Those prices are not okay. Won’t be coming back here again.

I liked the welcoming feel and friendly service at this restaurant. The pit master special was an amazing combination that gave us the chance to try out three meats on our visit. Paired with three sides, it was a satisfying amount of food for two of us to share. The brisket, ribs and sausage were all absolutely delicious.

This was not that bad. I had the pit mater special which included ribs, sausage and brisket with 2 sides. The meat was not as tender as I would like and if not for the sauce would be a bit bland, however that potato salad was fire. I usually do not get potato salad but gave it a try and was not disappointed. Overall this is not a bad spot to eat if you want a quick BBQ fix.

Great food. New to Texas, the service was great too. A gentleman who appeared to be the owner acknowledged his customers and gave my son a soda even though we arrived for take out. Was a big deal for my son.

My husband and I stopped for lunch here last week. We had never been here before and decided to try it out since we were both craving barbecue. We were politely greeted, seated and served right away. Very nice atmosphere and very clean. We both ordered the loaded brisket baked potatoes. I got chopped brisket and my husband got sliced (which many barbecue places don’t offer on a potato). The food was excellent and so was the iced tea, which the waitress offered us to- go cups as we checked out. We will definitely be back soon to try some more menu items. 🙂

Good ole Texas Bar-B-Que! From the moment we walked in we were greeted very friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was really warm and cozy. Our server was really nice and was even patient with us when we said it was our first time visiting. For appetizers we had the stuffed Jalapeños And they were good but a bit warm. We placed our order and when the food came out it was so good!! It was so good I forgot the names of the food but definitely worth it. My sandwich had a little bit of everything and the sausage was on point! (Get the spicy!) My mom had the potato with chopped brisket and she loved it. She also got a side of corn on the cob. The food is definitely filling and worth it. I will say the chopped brisket was different but in a good way. This one was sweet but nothing too extreme and was very tasty. The sweet tea was also on point! We were too full for desert but I heard they were great. Y’all definitely check them out!

Was looking for a good bbq place following a long and frustrating drive to/from League City on that miserable highway, I-45. Tried to get to a couple of restaurants in Houston; however the crowds and lack of parking dissuaded. Googled and found Pitmaster BBQ off Sawdust Rd, just west of I-45. The place is smack-dab in the middle of a large strip mall, just east of Budde Rd. Walked in around 7:15 PM, the restaurant closes at 8:00 PM; hardly anyone around at the time. We’re greeted warmly by Cassidy at the front door – sat in the covered patio area, very pleasant on a typical Oct evening. Cassidy was extremely friendly and attentive – ordered the sausage/brisket/ribs combo platter for $22, together with Fried Okra and Baked Beans as sides. In addition, ordered Jalapeño poppers and Onion Rings as appetizers. Food arrived very quickly, and was it delicious! The meats were well-smoked and fall-off-bone tender, the spicy sausage was perfectly cooked. Sides were not at all greasy – very tasty. Texas toast accompanied the platter. Rounded off the fine meal with Blueberry Cobbler and Pecan Pie to go. Nice touch that the owner came and checked on us, in addition to Cassidy’s excellent attention. The meal was plentiful and cost $69 for two, including 20% tip. Overall, very satisfying – recommend this hidden gem if you like a quiet, well-attended to experience.

Excellent! I don’t know why we’ve never eaten here before but we’ll definitely be back. Friendly service and delicious food. We had brisket, sausage, baked potato, baked beans, fried okra, onion rings, banana pudding, and peach cobbler.

Got large to-go lunch order of beef sandwiches for my contractor crew. Order was ready early, the owner provided lots of little extras and also gave my guy picking up the order royal treatment. All my crew loved the BBQ and asked where I got it from so they could go back again. My guys know their BBQ and confirmed “Pit-Master BBQ is legit!” Thank you!
