Decent place with authentic Mediterranean food cooked to order. I had the spicy chicken beast and asked for it hot, it was very good but not as hot as I would have liked. The beef kebab was cooked with onion and was decent but I wouldn’t order it again as the beef was pretty hard to chew through. The greek salad was great, fresh feta cheese, tomatoes and olives with a pit still inside. Best thing I had was the baklava, and I think this was probably the best baklava I’ve ever had! Would highly recommend it to any fan of baklava, it was definitely made in house and the Crispy crunchy filo dough was perfect and the touch of honey was not overwhelming at all, mildly sweet I’d call it. Would definitely go back, especially for the baklava.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and I am so grateful to have been raised with such an amazing restaurant in this town. Accessible menu has something for everyone! Lots of vegan /vegetarian options. Always fresh and always delicious. Can’t recommend them enough!

This restaurant makes the tastiest, authentic Middle Eastern food. Charbel and his wife Hanna take great care to prepare their dishes with the freshest ingredients, using recipes handed down to them from parents.

Worst gyro ever. Very disappointed of our lunch today. I have been to pita gourmet in numerous times in the past and everything was very good but this time was the worst experience ever. It is my fiancée’s and I first time to Pita Gourmet in like 3 years and we definitely noticed the difference. We got the chicken gyro and there was barely any chicken in it (attached picture). The lentil soup was basically just lentils with TONS of pepper, the Shawarma plate was extra small, and it tasted terribly. For apps we ordered falafels and they were dry and cold. ANYTHING of what we ordered we liked. I usually do not like to be a Karen, but this were so hungry and this experience made me extra HANGRY. I left the whole gyro, and even told the server we were very dissatisfied and she did nothing to get us the manager or try to give us a discount. I’m still extra mad.

My wife and I were passing through Cortland, NY looking for a good restaurant with vegan, gluten free menu options. We had dinner at Pita Gourmet and were very happy with the food quality, quantity, presentation and service. The friendly and knowledgeable waitress helped us make a great selection of vegan and gluten free options that we enjoyed for dinner and we had enough for next day’s lunch. We did not try non vegan foods, but I have no reason to believe that it would not be as delicious as the vegan ones. I highly recommend Pita Gourmet!

The reviews don’t lie: this is easily one of the best places to eat in town, especially as a vegetarian/vegan. The food always tastes fresh and high-quality, with generous portions for a fair price. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is clean with a warm atmosphere. I love the Fabulous 5, which offers a tasty (and healthy!) variety of flavors and textures for your pita bread. Highly recommended!
