More than just a restaurant! We are an eclectic neighborhood joint, “Where all the locals come to eat”. Originally founded as a food truck in 2014, Pita Wheel has evolved into a funky and fun full service casual dining restaurant. Our wonderful staff and loyal customer’s support through the years has allowed us to expand to three locations across the Carolinas: Gastonia, Dallas and Belmont (coming soon)!

We visited here before but never the Belmont, NC location. Definitely impressed, I ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch pita with onion rings, and my wife got the Steak and Pimento pita with fries. It was very tasty, the service was good and they had a great music selection. The overall look of the place was cool, we would definitely eat here again.

We were able to sit outside with no wait at all. The seating is a bit odd. The tables are narrow, which is ok, but the bench seats are a little too far away from the tables and all bolted to the floor.

Super fast!! I has the Grecian pita with onion rings . The pita was so flavorful! Beyond friendly starting with the beautiful hostess. My server was informative and quick! Definitely a must try! The vibe is like a cool, upscale, diner/drive in lol love it!

Can be packed at sometimes ! But overall worth the wait ! Very nice location and and open to the outdoors as well, I came on a Saturday evening and the place was starting to get busy after awhile. The inside of the place was very tightly squeeze together and mostly the workers bumping heads. Wish they were booths tbh. However overall really good food ! And really awesome fries and philly’s. Visit whenever you can !

Our first experience here was a great one. I had the fried pickle Philly and it was really good. I only wish it had more of that delicious sauce on it. Lots of local beers on tap and walkable from other establishments nearby. We will definitely be back!

It’s great having a Pita Wheel close by that follows the other locations in awesome food, craft beer and cool atmosphere. It’s the only place I frequent that has Red Oak on tap and that alone is worth the trip.

Wow. Finally tried the pita wheel in Belmont and they did not disappoint. Service is always great. Queso is.. addicting!! It’s so good. Philly cheesesteak pitas, burgers, sides, everything 10 out of 10. Also love the outside patio and the fans help keep it cool. We will be regular customers!
