Every time I come to Los Angeles I have to come here to Pit Burger. It’s been over 3 years since I’ve had it and I’m so glad nothing has changed. I’ve been coming here for years for their combo plate. Unfortunately, their prices have jumped significantly. So, with a family of 5, we no longer come in as often. They food is pretty good. If you come for a combo plate, expect to pay a little over $15 just for the combo plate, no drinks included. Big portions, so you can definitely share a plate with a second person. The place has seen better days. Management should really give the place a lift esthetically. This place is cash only, and there is no indoor seating either.

Been coming here since 1990 great place to grab a quick burger and a Teriyaki plate I just noticed a lot of people do complain about the price but if you really look at the whole picture I’m sure that person or people will spend more than $15 somewhere else and people talk about how the food is cheap but obviously they came and ate here they must like it I’ll still be coming here and the place next door to get tamales

This place is not what I was led it to be. The food is very cheaply made. I mean get some real burger buns and and quit selling us those 99 cent store buns my burger and teriyaki chicken burger was so sloppy and soggy i couldn’t even eat it. The fries are 99 cent store cheap shoe string fries from the frozen food department and i was highly disappointed. I will never go back to this place if they were giving that stuff away for free. Yuk.

This place has been around since I was in Jr High. My go to is the Teri Beef and Rice. Sliced Teriyaki Beef over a bed of White Rice. The beef is cooked just right, tender and juicy and a teriyaki sauce is added as it cooks. Perfect!!!

Come on now. You have got to love pit burger. This is a small corner resturaunt in Gardenia. It has been a staple for my family since I was born. I have brought many friends here to enjoy the amazing teriyaki bowls, burgers and plates. The go to item every time is the teri bowl. The helpings are enormous and very filling. There is no place anywhere near that has the flavor this teriyaki has. When you arrive you smell the aromas wafting out of the circulation vent and immediately it has you drooling and ready to enjoy this goodness. I recommend getting the half /half (chicken/beef) plate. You will experience a very flavorful meal that will have you craving more and anxiously awaiting your next visit. I only got a pic of the teri burger today. It is several pices of the flat steak meat covered in their special teriyaki sauce and lettuce with a bit of mayo to increase the flavor. I’ll add more pics to come. Go eat here soon!!!!!

The owner very nice person, but he has to pay attention to employees as they are not giving good service and making people wait just because they want, the lady taking orders made me wait about 20min after the food was ready just because she said she didn’t have time to fill my sodas, she was taking other orders first, so if the line had never ended she would never have given me my order just for this I will never buy food from this place again.
