This place was awesome. It was once said to me that “you know that you are a Hoosier, if you judge a place off of how good their tenderloin sandwich is”, and as a lifelong Hoosier I can say without a doubt that this place has got it going on. The service was fantastic, the ladies working there were incredibly accommodating and kind. It was an awesome lunch, and the very next time I am in town I know exactly where I will be going to thrown on the ol feed bag. IF I had to find something to gripe about, it would be that it is a smoking bar. As a former smoker, I do not love the smell anymore. Since it was lunch time it was not too bad, but other than I would absolutely recommend Pits.

Great local bar to grab a cheap bite and a drink. Food pricing is very reasonable and food tastes good for the price you pay. Great drink prices amd friendly staff. This is a smoking bar but they must have great ventilation as the smell wasn’t real strong. Daily lunch specials.

Had their tenderloin. It’s huge, good flavor never has that old strong pork taste like some restaurants. Plus, even though it’s huge, it still has a generous amount of tenderloin to it, unlike most restraunts when it is mostly all breading. BEST tenderloin in town!

They have pretty good food, decent prices and a nice mellow atmosphere. This may be a + for some and – for others but it’s one of the few places you can still smoke inside.

Great place to get lunch first dine in or take out. They have daily specials posted to their Facebook page. They are a cash only establishment. The salads are very large and one of my favorite items to order. The fish is really good if you are looking for options for lent.

Food was great. Bartender for got my coke but it was ok I was visiting with a friend and I didn’t notice until I was asked if I wanted a drink. Lol all good. Only down side is I’m not a smoker anymore so the smoke does get to me if I’m in to long. But the Christmas decorations is over the top owner does a real good job with that.

Coffee could be stronger and hotter. Food was average but certainly not bad. Smoking is permitted so some may find that a problem. Typical of small town bar fare. Service and pricing was good.

I had one of the best bar burgers I’ve had in years here. And the breaded mushrooms were perfect. It is a dive bar, so don’t expect to get fancy drinks, but the pours are generous and the prices good, and the food is everything it needs to be and should be. It might not be what I want every night, especially if I’m feeling adventurous, but it is exactly what is claims to be, and very very good at being that. I can not recommend this place highly enough.
