Couple who own the store argue and bicker in front of customers as well as their employees- unprofessional and awkward. The woman who co-owns the store, is not very friendly, speaks negatively about her employees and customers and lacks boundaries. It’s all a bit too much, really distasteful. The ice cream has been icy instead of creamy on more than one occasion and the paper serving trays (the kind you typically serve fries in) they have for the fro-yo is weird. Can’t recommend this place at all.

My second time ordering from this company .The first time was great. But this time I was told that even though he made the burger at PITSTOP INCORRECTLY it wasn’t his fault (mind blowing) and it was nothing he could do. Clearly me bringing the sandwich back and him remaking one wasn’t even an option. I ordered via Door Dash and he is only a subcontractor so he says. YOU MADE IT WRONG!! I’m so confused. If I had a issue with the delivery time then its a DD issue but they don’t make or prepare the food. Its your issue. So with that being said I had to call DD any they gracefully refunded me w/o a problem. I WILL NOT be ordering from a company that flakes out on their mistake and blames the delivery company. And I’m sure it was the manager/owner he should be ashamed of himself.

The most I guess I can give this is a 1 star review because I wasn’t even able to try to resteraunt. The resteraunt is now called Jersey Johns Deli which you would not know is also the pit stoppe shop unless you see the extremely tiny writing above the sign. Also their hours aren’t even the same and the only way to know that is if you actually go to the location which we just wasted 40 minutes doing.

Jersey John’s Deli is by far the best sub shop in Rocky Mount. I come in frequently for breakfast before work for a pork roll egg and cheese. For lunch they have subs with a generous anount of meat and hand-cut fries. Plus, the bread os fresh baked! Best food I’ve had in a while, thanks Jersey John!

On this particular visit my husband and I ordered to go and ordered the Jersey Turkey Club combo with bomb fries and the Pitstop Famous Hotdog combo with sweet potato fries. We also shared a 12oz cup of (didn’t make the photo opp because we dug right in ) delicious frozen strawberry yogurt with mixed berries, strawberries, cheesecake, Reeses chocolates, chocolate chips, and walnuts OMG! Will definitely come back to this spot. Highly recommended

Lunch with wife and 4 y/o son on a Sunday. Sat outside with parking lot view on a beautiful day. Great service from the time we walked in until we left. AMAZING sandwiches! Had the Jersey Supreme (or something like that) with the works. Cold cut roast beef, ham, and turkey were stacked probably 1.5 – 2 inches thick, lettuce, tomato, vinegar, delicious sub roll. Great sub with no corners cut. Crispy fries hot from the fryer. Free refill on the fountain drink. Can’t remember what wife had but she loved it. Kid had chicken nuggets and fries and he ate those up!

We were traveling and stopped here after getting some gas. Literally the best Philly cheesesteak I have ever had and my wife loved her veggie burger. Sweet potato fries were great, but the regular fries weren’t so great. The staff is super friendly and it was just a wholesome experience. Wishing y’all the best!

I had the Philly Cheesteak sandwich which was delicious . The cook informed me that he is even baking his own rolls for these sandwiches. They even have a Roast Beef sandwich, which I have had and it is delicious, also. I do plan to return here very soon. By the way, while I was having my meal, several people were having desert where you can prepare your own ice cream and toppings by the pound.

Very friendly environment but I truly wasn’t satisfied with the food, the chili is like a purée honestly. Not many selections of frozen yogurt or ice cream but definitely a lot of toppings! Should’ve turned around when I saw a full parking lot but no one was in that restaurant.
