I had read reviews of this pizza place on line, some good and some not, but thought I would check out today. The service is really not good. It’s like that episode of Seinfeld where he is trying to pick up his car from the rental agency, and they don’t have a car for him, and they say how they know how to do their job, and he says you know how to take the reservation, but you can’t provide a car, and isn’t that what it’s about, giving me the car I rented. Same experience today. They take your order and money but then providing the pizza is a bit foreign to them. I’ll just leave it there. The pizza wasn’t bad but not hot. They told me just came out of the oven, but I don’t think so, unless your oven is on 200 degrees. It was foldable NY thin and good ratio of cheese to sauce, I don’t like too much sauce, and crust was crunchy. I would go back but they need to work on the FOH.

Food was great. Service was friendly..but the gentleman had to come ask us twice what we ordered. We witnessed this with other people as well. It was confusing because our order was written down and they ask your name. But hands down delicous food.

Just tried Pizza 501 for the first time since new management, excellent pizza, price, customer service and they do delivery as well. We did not like the pizza prior to this new owner. Crust not Thin but not Thick, sauce cheese and pepperoni all good. Will be back!!

Finally, a local pizzeria with that touch of New York which sells pizza by the slice and bakes their pizza in a pizza oven….not a conveyor rack. I highly recommend this establishment.

Ordered pizza was told 40 minutes. Waited an hour and 15 min. But the worst part is it was sitting on top of stove for at least 15 min before they realized it was my pizza’s. So it was cold and one of the pizza was burnt to the point it was black on the bottom and not edible. So disappointed as we been going there for almost 7 years when it was ala marios

Ordered takeout: 501 pizza was ok, margarita pizza was horrible and burnt, no cheese, 1 small piece of tomato with very little basil. Stromboli was dry and garlic knots were just ok. Will not go to them again. Don’t even bother trying.

Calzone was large, cheesy but tasteless; cheese sticks breading tasted bad, breading on chicken in the 501 wrap also tasted bad; wrap was dry; ordered buffalo wings but received bbq wings. Will not go back again.
