I’ve tried Pizza Bandit a few times now, and I am less than impressed. I think what gets people in, is their crazy combinations and Facebook presence. In my experience, their pizza just has not been good. The sauces are what makes their pizza, and you shouldn’t have to douse pizza in random sauce to make it tolerable.

We ordered 2 whole pies this weekend(half pep and half just cheese) both times. The first was Friday night while at the Yellow Cab for Dayton Sideshow 2022. Then another Sunday while dismantling my art display. The pizza is full of very yummy flavors. If you order an entire pizza, you get 6 dipping sauces. Will definitely be getting again. The slices are huge. A pizza is cut into 6 slices. Fold it up, dip in a sauce, and consume…. Repeat until full.

We ordered the Crab Rangoon pizza on a recommendation from a friend. It tasted just like the appetizer. It even had the pastry shell pieces on top. A little sweet but overall good pizza. It is a bit pricey (because it is a speciality pizza) however, in line with other speciality pizza places you may have visited.

The pizza I just had was not made by someone who cares about pizza. The photos speak for themselves: the crust was semi-cooked as bottom of the pizza was white, and it was gummy to eat. The 2 stars were earned solely from their spicy sauce which was genuinely awesome and should have been on some chicken bc again that sauce is outstanding!…but the pizza contributed 0 to that star count.

I’ve been here several times and their pizzas never disappoint. Tried one of their honey and brie pizzas and the flavors were on point. Definitely a place to check out if you’re looking for NY style pizza with a twist!

Good pizza, but other than their daily/weekly specials, there’s very little variety as far as toppings (pepperoni, sausage, banana peppers, feta..). Gluten free pizza was good, $10 for a 10″ pizza, 75 cents for extra toppings. Not bad, but didn’t blow us away. Inside was a little grungy, but at least there were tables!
