We just moved to Muskegon and we’re right down the road from Mr Scribs and I had always heard great things about their pizza. Honestly, I was pretty disappointed. The crust was soggy, the sauce was almost non-existent and the cheese and toppings were pretty flavorless. Altogether it tasted like a plate of grease. We won’t be ordering from them again.

I have been going to this pizza place since I have been a kid. So, about 45 years. With new management I have noticed the pizza is being burnt on the edge, and if you are there at dinner time you may have a long wait. On a recent trip out of town, coming home we usually order a pizza on our way back into town. This way we can unpack the car and not have to cook. I ordered ahead of time and was told it would be ready in about 25 min. No problem we wouldn’t be there for about 20 anyway. Upon arrival, the pizza was ready but my fried mushrooms I had to wait another 25 min. All while my pizza was in the warmer. There were a lot of other people waiting for there fried goods as well with there pizzas in the warmer as well. I hope they start to improve there service or I will have to find another pizza place as a regular as some of my other friends already have.

Onion rings were gross. I could have picked up a bag from Gordon’s Food if that’s the kind of onion rings I wanted. Made the drive all the way to Apple Avenue just to get the same, gross tasting, unbreaded onion rings. Scribs has always had the BEST onion rings imo….idk what happened, but bring back the OG rings. Stopped going closer to home due to getting the same onion rings on Laketon and Henry. So I guess no more onion rings when we order Scribs.
